it really jingles my jams when it switches automatically to 144p, wont buffer, and when I switch it to 1080p it loads without needing to buffer.

If you have a good connection, you can dowload Youtube High Definition, it's an addon on Firefox (don't know if it exists on others) that turns automatically the quality to 1080p/720p (you can choose).
 gif unrelated

I wish youtube would quit getting rid of their "big player" setting. That one is perfect. I don't need full screen, but the default size is just ****** stupid small.

No idea what the **** they were thinking, they think they made it better with just having one button for all of the video setting but I have to go past 35 ******* things to change quality.

have slow connection, patience, and enough taste to view my videos in 1080
open youtube, notice that my settings of always playing video in highest quality has been forgotten...
again...
set quality to 1080 and pause.
ctrl-tab to what i was reading
read some
come back to youtube, press play
a total of 20 seconds has been buffered.
**** youtube google.

Speaking of YouTube, maybe one of you can help me. I can watch videos in 1080p as long as I'm not in full screen, but as soon as i go full screen it will start to skip. Any ideas why? Idk why Bob Saget.

Do you ever just think about why they put quality, annotations and screen size in the little gear box? Did they need to save space on the bar or something? The **** kind of sense went into that?
There's no way to make money off of it, it makes things less convenient no matter how you look at it and- wait, why else would they logically do it? It just doesn't make sense on any level.
