ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
They can hear, and see what you're visually thinking. This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

Asians hide their mind reading abilities by a lot of them having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THIS!!!!!

They all serve the same purposes, so why should I care what brand I use ? And what's all this fuss about durability? I mean durability is nice, but isn't it really dependent on how careful the user is? Why have a smartphone when you can have a tablet (dumb question)?

If you guys watched thee keynote, you'd learn that they did extend the battery life.
User avatar #72 to #64 - deathleprechaun (09/13/2013) [-]
If they all watched the keynote they wouldn't care about battery life because they would be a bunch of Apple junkies.

I'm just saying they shouldn't make comics about what Apple didn't upgrade when they don't know. I know many people who dislike Apple, let alone "Apple Junkies" and still watched the keynote because that is one of the most topselling phones.

I currently have a droid, and I hate this phone and can't wait to switch back to Apple. I'm not an "Apple Junkie," my preferences on phones are different than yours. I like that the auto-correct is much better, iMessage, facetime, the look of the software and device, the fact that it takes me two minutes after my notification to be able to open a picture, and a few other stuff. Almost everyone who has a Droid bashes on Apple owners, but I rarley see Apple owners bash Droid owners. They're both different phones. I've tried Droid and don't like it, I still don't bash it. Most of the people who haven't even tried using an iPhone and you still bash at it.

I have an iPhone 4S. I don't like apple, I just hate Android enough that I'd rather have an iPhone. My problem with the new iPhone isn't how little they upgraded. My problem is with how Apple presented it. They had four major points about the iPhone 5S.

iOS7 - Not a big deal for the 5S because it applies to all iPhones as far back as the 4, it's just being released at the same time.

Camera - Better, but not by much. It has the same megapixels, just larger pixels.

Fingerprint scanner - Cool but something that will occupy minimal time of phone use.

A7 Chip - The main thing they advertised about this is the fact that it's 64-bit, which unless you have more than 4GB of ram, is useless. Aside from that they were intentionally vague: "Desktop-Class architecture" "Modern instruction set." It has almost double the performance of the A6 solely because of architecture improvements and clock speed increases. Having double the performance isn't that useful anyway though, particularly in graphics, because of the fact that developers are going to make sure their apps are still compatible with previous generations of the iPhone.

The battery life hasn't been an issue of the iPhone for me, so I don't care about whether or not they improved it. I've been able to make my iPhone 4S last 66 hours before. The problem is that people don't know how to take care of lithium ion batteries. Charge until 100% then unplug ASAP. Drain to 0%. Repeat. Do this at least once a month, or as often as possible, applies to almost anything rechargeable: Laptops, Phones, iPods, Tablets, wireless hot-spots, etc.

I agree that they could've improved more like the camera, or the resolution, and other important things but I wouldn't call people Apple junkies because they watched the keynote.
User avatar #99 to #98 - deathleprechaun (09/14/2013) [-]
I know, I watched it and am certainly not one, but there are still only a few people who will watch the whole thing and if there is one term to describe those most likely to, it's the Apple junkies.
#100 to #99 - KingTroll ONLINE (09/14/2013) [-]
I haven't watched the whole thing because they published the video after it was announced and theres no point because I watched it with one of those 3rd party internet shows and just got my info from there. But if they streamed it live from the start I would've watched the whole thing just to know what to expect from the phone and whats happening to the company, and I don't consider myself an Apple junkie, which I do agree with you, theres a lot lol

Oh yea that phone looks awesome. I'd love that phone. It'll probably never come out any time soon unfortunately, if ever because companies won't sell as many phones
User avatar #103 to #102 - deathleprechaun (09/14/2013) [-]
Like he said, if there's enough of an expressed demand for it then companies will make it happen. How long it would take and how many compromises from the original idea will have to be made to make it work are difficult to determine though.

I have an S4 and I casually play 3d hd games for about two hour daily and maybe listen to some music for an hour and the battery still lasts about 3-4 days, so it depends on the product. Also use power saving mode. A lot.

Depends how outdated the Android OS is.
It also heavily depends on the phone itself.
If you're using the original LG Droid, that's your problem right there.

I had a Motorola Backflip. Motorola never optimized the Android OS on the phone, and never sent updates... Therefore the battery life on that phone was less than 3 hours.

Most companies get lazy after a year or two, maybe three if you're lucky, and stop releasing OS updates to fix bugs, glitches, and to optimize.

It's kinda like Apple, where your iOS device is declared out-dated two years after it's release and you aren't able to update the iOS version and download any more apps.
However, with Android, the mean OS version will last a while when it comes to downloading apps. If you have 4.1 then you'll be fine until 5.x is released. (Currently it's on 4.4?)

But they did increase the battery life from 5 to 5S...
User avatar #42 to #40 - thenez ONLINE (09/13/2013) [-]
The iphone 5 had a 1440 mah battery.

The iphone 5c has a 1507 mah battery, and the 5s has a 1570 mah battery.

The battery life will have increased at idle, but the beefier chips will severely shorten battery life when in use.
#79 to #42 - anonymous (09/13/2013) [-]
a7 uses less power to the a6 under standard usage
the m7 is being used to detect idle scenarios to turn off features to further increase the life; such as when you're driving in a car, it stops scanning for wifi, or if you're sleeping and not using it, it stops pinging the network as often.

its an estimated 25% increase in battery life with equivalent usage between the 5 and 5s

and the fingerprint reader is a blessing and a curse built into one - it can unlock your phone and authenticate simply by touching the home button, which you're doing to turn it on anyways, shaving a second of time off unlocking it every time you pick it up (I get a LOT of texts and I typically open it to send a response and immediately lock it, so this will add up very considerably for me). However, its much less secure, since the phone is essentially covered in your fingerprints, so a motivated criminal can duplicate a print on a lifted phone and unlock it easily, whereas with a password its fairly secure.
User avatar #83 to #79 - thenez ONLINE (09/13/2013) [-]
I meant idle as in what you say standard use.

When the power that the chips are capable of is actually being utilized, I hypothesize that the a7 will be more power hungry than the a6.

i.e.: playing games, or rendering anything in 3d.
