I hate working there. People are so damn picky it's beyond ridiculous...I understand you're hungry, and yes I partially don't mind making you a damn sandwich, but by all that is holy, if I put four tomatoes on your ******* sandwich, please don't ask me for double tomatoes. I would like to keep a stock of tomatoes for the other billion customers we have, as well as you're wasting my time on the other 20 things I have to do before the next shift comes in. Excuse the rant, I just never get to rant about my hatred to the customers since I like having a job and paycheck

I know this feel.. I work at a subway in a small town, and it's just terrible... the workers are so unprofessional. The smell is awful (I swear that **** becomes one with your DNA thats how strong the scent is) also when people come in 15 minutes before closing.. I'm done so done.

One time we closed 30 minutes early in order to have enough bread for making platters in the morning. 25 minutes later people came up to the door and were outraged that we were closed. I was out of uniform and everything and simply made gestures suggesting that we're closed.

It's hard to elaborate how hard I laughed when they came up to the door expecting the door to open and that door was locked.

My assistant manager is the worst (if she can even be called that), she gladly takes the pay of assistant manager, she gladly asserts her authority by commanding anything and everyone (sometimes even customers) to do what she wants. But when responsibility needs to be taken? She dumps it all on the manager, as well as calling the manager incompetent. Ridiculous, all of it.

When people come in after we put up that bane and they still expect us to make them sandwiches. **** them, damn them to the hottest fires of Hell.

or those customers who come in 2 hours after closing expecting us to make them a sub... but we have it easy we have easily the best boss ever, he so understanding and easy to talk/be friends with even though he's like 50.

As well, the job doesn't feel worth it at all, you make so many subs a day and you see so many people complaining online or hear about them complaining like its their right to get a sub.

Luckily we have a separate building, so we aren't connected to a gas station, or a Wal-Mart or some **** . When 11pm comes around we lock that damn door. **** anything that tries to get in otherwise.

Of course, being the fastest sub-maker there, so much is expected of me, it's ridiculous. Apparently they think I'm a damn octopus or something, able to do 50 things at once or some **** .

We have a separate building to, but this one time I had to stay two hours late because the inspector was coming in the next day, and this customer came to the door and demanded I made him a sub.. I was so rustled.

I would've said "Bitch we're ******* closed, are you ******* illiterate? We aren't open, because who's gonna want a ******* sandwich at ******* 1am (going off two hours after my closing time anyway). I guess we didn't anticipate ********* knocking on the door not knowing how to ******* read."

Assuming you want to keep your job of course, haha.

And then there's the subway a block from where I live... that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on holidays. I feel so sorry for the workers there, especially since it's in the middle of the closest thing this city has to a ghet..

Indubitably. I'd rather go back to work at Amazon.com. And that place was all the negative afterlives combined.

I work at a Jersey Mikes, it's basically a better subway ( more meat, better bread etc/ and delicious philly cheese steaks ). I hate it that **** so much, I've had people tell me where the cheese needs to be on the sandwich. "can I have provolone cheese on the bottom, and pepperjack ontop".. like wtf.

Yeah, people are moronic. I can't stand Subway anymore. It used to appeal to me, but as with any other fast food place, after working there, the food just almost disgusts me.

They ask for that cheese on top of cheese and I just let them know what's extra and what isn't. They're like, "I want Oven Roasted Chicken with Teriyaki Chicken, Pepperoni, and Steak on top with extra cheese" I just laugh and explain that it's going to be extra. They say it's fine, but when they get to the register, then they change their minds. ******* .
