I sometimes fail to see why 9/11 jokes are bad. I've heard some bad ones, yeah, but this? I can laugh at this like I can laugh at a Hitler cake.

So I started a tradition with me and my friends. Hopefully it gains popularity and spreads. I heard somewhere that Muslims believe they could go to hell for even touching pork. So every 9/11 since Bin Ladin's death we sprinkle bacon bits on our porches to ward off his ghost.

That seems like a legitimate way to ward off the muslim undead...

I spent 9/11 with my friends drinking 9/11's. What's a 9/11 you may ask? It's what you get when you mix two kamikazes into a Manhattan.

Ok, people are saying stuff like "Why should I mourn over 9/11? I didn't even know any of the people. What about the people that die everyday?"

Showing your respect to the whole 9/11 incident is not about just showing respect to the people that died that day, that's just something that inherently deserves your sympathy. It's about the fact that America allowed herself to become complacent and trusting in the international good will of those who falsely came here with their hands out asking for help while holding a knife in the other hand. It's about how those terrorists flew those two planes into the World Trade Center, with 0 regard as to who they hurt and what they did, and the awful outcome was the loss of nearly 3,000 innocent lives and our nation being paralyzed with fear, awe struck at what they had just witnessed and what had just happened. It's one of the most historic events in all of American history. People have to realize that it's not ONLY about the people who were killed, it's also about how we became vulnerable as a country, how Americans were poisoned with fear, how we stuck together and pulled through as a nation, and how we overcame such a tragic event, TOGETHER. It's just an implicit reaction to show some benignancy to those who died and to those who lost a loved one. 9/11 should not, and will not ever be forgotten.
