Emission came from approximately 600 light years away. Radio waves travel at the speed of light in a vacuum. Said waves are approximately 600 years old.

You have nothing to worry about.

The object emitting the signal also seems to be traveling at four times the speed of light ... So they would have been here before we even saw the first emissions...

Its been a while since i learned it in chemistry, but wouldnt it need Oxygen from the air as a diatomic molecule aswell as the H20 to cause rust? or im i completely missing something?

I am unsure if the Marianas trench can be spoken for, but the ocean and large bodies of water contain massive amounts of dissolved oxygen, which causes things like ship wrecks deep underwater to rust - thought not in the same way that exposure would, above water. Also the deep storage project is probably made of chemically treated iron that is stronger and less susceptible to rust. Otherwise known as steel.

I think it needs to oxidate in order to rust.

As you prove to be a smart guy I have a question for you. Do these never-before emitting radio waves mean they're created by perhaps a civilization of some kind? And if so can they witness our own radio waves as well?

Two things:
>Depends what type of Iron.
>Some metals that can be considered iron don't rust.
>Depends on the level of oxygen in the water.

And the second:
>An unknown object has started emitting radio waves unlike anything we've seen before.
>Could be a natural phenomenon.
>Could be friendly aliens trying to contact others just like us.
Don't be afraid of the radio emission. Instead study it, see if it poses a threat.

Strap in, bitch.

A 14" pizza is usually sliced into 8 pieces, and has a surface area of pi*14^2, or 615.75 square inches per 8 slices of pizza.

1 acre is equivalent to 6272640 square inches, and 100 acres makes 627264000 square inches.

627264000 square inches divided by 615.75 is 1018699.14738 pizzas.

1018699.14738 pizzas is roughly equivalent to 8149593 slices of pizza consumed every day in America.

There are 313900000 people in america.

8149593 divided by 313900000 is equal to 0.025 slices of pizza per person. Thats one slice of pizza PER FORTY ******* PEOPLE. ONE SLICE PER FORTY.
