I was shocked to find that I knew more most of my friend show to do stuff in a car.

"You don't know how to change a tire?"
"No, we live in the city, why is that so shocking"
"because you Dad a rough neck!"

I just got done replacing a crushed MAF sensor, O2 sensor, leaky radiator, cleaned my injectors, changed my fuel pump, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, brake lines, brake pads, alternator and air freshener a couple weeks ago just to sell the car for $300.

Hell, I know nothing about cars, and very little about engines. I've disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled a lawnmower engine. That's it.

Random somewhat related story: My car makes a loud gurgling noise when it starts/accelerates. This happens because I fill it with cheap and dirty fuel. So about a week ago as I was pulling into the servo, a helpful stranger suggested there may have been something wrong with my "Flux Capacitor".
I should have said something witty about my Mr. Fusion being on the fritz, instead I just stared at him, in complete awe of his unfailing stupidity, until he scampered away.
