1 slice = 9 minutes
1440 minutes = 1 day
1440 / 9 = 160 slices in 1 day
365 days = 1 year
365 days x 160 slices in one day = 58400 slices in 1 year
Current year = 2013 - 1732
= 281 years x 58400 slices
= 16,410,400 slices of bacon.

Lets say the average person eats 3 slices of bacon per day, that's 16,410,400 divided by 3.
Which means it would take 5470133.3 days to eat that amount of bacon, or if we go further and divide 5470133.3 by 365 we get 14986.6 years.

So lets recap, in order to have died in 1732 from 2013 you would have had to have eaten 16,410,400 slices.
Assuming you ate a modest 3 slices in a day, it would take almost 15000 years to eat that amount of bacon. Correct me if I am wrong.

This **** annoys me because no one ever gets this **** right. Everything adds and takes away time from your life. Eating bacon takes away time. Going for a walk adds time. Being left handed takes away time from stress. Being happy adds time because it reduces stress. Saying "This takes away this much time" is such an inaccurate form of measurment because you can't measure every addition and subtraction from the beginning to the end of your life.

Feeling incredibly bored. Time to find out just how much bacon OP ate.
1 bacon strip = 9 minutes
60 minutes in an hour
24 hours a day
60X24 = 1,440
365 days in a year
1,440 X 365 = 252,600 minutes in a year
252,600 / 9 = 58,400 strips a year
The year is 2013
OP should have died in 1732
281 year difference
58,400(bacon strips in a year) X 281 = 1,641,400 strips.
OP has eaten +1,641,400 strips of bacon in his life.

Every piece of bacon takes 9 minutes off your life.
Every cigarette takes 11 minutes off your life.
If you eat and smoke fast enough, you'll get younger.

I would do math but let's just say you would have had to eat a lot of bacon.

A life without bacon, isn't a life worth living.

I came up with 16.4 million pieces of bacon.

281 years. Times 365 days = 102565 days or x 24 hours = 2,461,560 hours or x 60 minutes = 147,693,600 minutes in 281 years. Dividing that by 9 minutes per piece of bacon you end up with 16,410,400 slices of bacon.

If most 1lb packs of bacon have about 15 slices (depending on cut) that's roughly 1 million pounds or 547 tons of bacon.

The average american eats one ton of food per year. Even if he was eating all bacon, it would take longer for him to eat it than the amount of time it's taken off his life.

so if I eat each piece of bacon in under 9 minutes, I'm in profit?

Fellow funnyjunkers, there is no need to be afraid. This is all a matter of some flawed studies from the 80s and 90s that have made people falsely believe that saturated fat is dangerous etc.

That's complete ******** . The only fats that are dangerous are the trans fats.

lets see, I average about 20 pieces every weekend since I was 7, that's 11 years X 52 for the weeks, that's about 572 pieces all together, multiply that by 9, about 5148 or something, divide by 60 is 85 hours....so like...3 days and change off my life in 11 years, not including the extra bacon I have off and on over the weeks, but that's inconsistent, so yea...not bad
