Similar story times folks.
>Be in 5th grade
>In school chilling out relaxing all cool
>Hanging with friends in classroom during free time
>Young mind decides it would be funny to sing our schools anthem and change the word tigers (school mascot) to *******.
>Have no idea what the word means
>Watched to much Samuel L jackson
>My "friend tells on me to teacher
>Get sent to office
>Asked why i said word
>Said I didn't no what it meant
>"******** no one gets to 5th grade without knowing the meaning of that word"
>Also one of the kids who was at the table with me was black
>Get suspended and sent home
>3 extra days for "Lying" about not knowing meaning of word
>Explain what happened to mother
>Mother goes into ultra bitch mode and storms to school
>Tears principal a new one saying we don't use language like that at our house and just because she(principal) may have grown up in some foul mouthed backwater dump of a home that spoke like that doesn't mean the rest of the world did.
>Suspension reduced
>I get popped on the mouth but no other punishment
>Mom explains the meaning of the word and says not to use it again
>Get back to school and principal apologizes to me with superintendent glaring at her over her shoulder.

TL;DR I hate when schools assume every student has been taught the different levels of "Political correctness" and lashes out at them when they really have no idea what they are saying/doing instead of EDUCATING them as is there job.

Yeah, I had the same problem growing up. I lived in a strict old traditional values household were kids obeyed the parents, who had complete control. I went to a small private school where they were only 50 kids total, many of them very religious many of their families also didn't believe in vaccines, so we had chicken pox going through our school one time. Any time one kid got something, it went through the school like wildfire. Also didn't do Halloween . So one day I'm waiting for my mom to pick me up from the library, and I stand near these middle school kids my age.

So these kids are just swearing up a storm, you know, the f- word, the n-word, both s-words, the w-word, the works. Also smoking, which shocked me, because in my mind I believed was physically impossible for kids to do things underage that they weren't supposed

So I mom picked me up, and I asked what those words were. She slows down, pulls over, and tells me very harshly that I'm going to have to wait inside the library near the adults in the check out desk from now on.

Over 2000 kids in my high school, and only 15 black kids. Our school got rid of the bus system back during desegregation because they didn't want black kids in our school. We treat them normally, though.

Ah, this reminds me. I shall deviate from the chain of content-similar stories and go on the wonderful tangent of school stupidity. Shall we?

8th grade. Me and this other kid antagonized each other. I didn't like him too much, he didn't like me, but he didn't like me in a playful way.
That came out wrong. More like he was one of those types of people who were never serious.
>He jumps me when I get to bus stop. No punches, just picks me up.
>I hit his arm to get him to put me down.
>Bus driver thinks we're fighting, and we get taken to the Principal's office.
>Principal is Dr. King (and, coincidentally, black).
>He has each of us write a single sentence on a piece of paper.
>One sentence.
>One. Sentence. On paper. Not even telling him what happened. Just a sentence. No more, no less.
>So we do. And then without reading the sentences, taking only the bus driver(who didn't see everything)'s word, he gives us both ISS for the day.
>So my mom, naturally, as I am not one to get in trouble at school normally, emails the principal after that.
>He gets defensive, goes off on my mom, yelling and shouting about how he was in the right.
>Meanwhile, the other guy and I have had a few classes together since, and he's actually a pretty nice guy.

TLDR: Middle School is a pain in the ass from both ends- administration and other kids.

Reminds me of a time I was in 4th/5th grade, and I said a kid was acting gay, but gay as in happy. Because that's what it actually says in the dictionary. I used it in legit conversation, as a sort of compliment. ******* principal freaked out on me, and **** still got the 'detention' that they gave us back then

You called?
But seriously, rage comics aren't the worst thing in the world, it's just when they're plastered over something that didn't need them that pisses me off.

When I was four, for some odd reason I thought that all of those with darker skin only spoke Spanish, so I would literally get upset because I was worried I would never be able to talk to them.

Wtf four-year-old me?

Until I was like 9, Black people was as mythical to me as unicorns; saw a lot of them on TV and there were some in books, but I never saw one in real life and didn't really think they existed.

Such is life in Denmark, especially when you grew up ina village where the most ethnic person was a dark haired half-German who didn't like pickled herring.

There are zones on earth where the black population isn't very big. Thus, they've never seen a black person before. An example of a places such as this would be Russia, North Korea and Nunavut.

My sister's boyfriend's family is from Russia.

When they moved to America, they were scared of black people because they had never seen one before.
