Most guns and bombs are conventional
Chemical weapons are against the Geneva convention, which makes it much, much worse

So the reason we have to get involved, isn't because they are murdering civilians and rebels, it's because they are murdering them -wrong-.

Killing civillians in a war is against the Geneva convention, but I assume if the war is a civil war, it gets somewhat more complicated, but using weapons such as nukes, bio warfare and chemical warfare is a complete no

They are doing it in an incredibly cruel way. It's the difference between a quick, painless death and a long, drawn out, painful death.

I guessing you've never died. Real life isn't like the movies. Just because you get shot or a bomb goes off doesn't mean you die instantly.

100,000 Syrians have died in their civil war in the last two years.

There is no nice way to kill someone.

From the fact that you are typing this, I'm guessing neither have you. If the Syrian government can use chemical weapons without any form of punishment, any armed conflict in the future could be a *********** of mustard gas, anthrax and chemical warfare. There are reasons WW1 was one of the most horrendous conflicts of our time.

Yeah, there was a reason it was one of the most horrendous.

and it includes the use of airplanes as weapons, machine guns, disease ridden trenches, ancient medical practices, and ancient tactics...

Plus using chemical weapons against other militaries would be a waste. Any modern fighting force is prepared to combat their deployment with gas masks, or airtight vehicles.

On a side note, are you okay with the US having used agent orange during the Vietnam conflict? and being the only country in the world to ever use Nuclear weapons on it's enemy?

Agent orange was a defoliating agent, and no one is ok with it anymore. Its killing our veterans even today from cancer, and the US government hasn't come out and said it's carcinogenic.
