This is what should've been done with the Tintin books, and all olden children's books of equivalent racistic content.

Why would Disney do that when they can lock movies like the Song of the South away forever and pretend that they never existed?

The Looney Tunes thing reminds me of an episode I watched of Tom and Jerry a few months ago with my father (Not sure why we were watching it, I think for nostalgia) and it was the mouse in Manhattan. It showed him around people's feet and then some show polish, then it quickly cut to the next scene. My dad spotted this, and said "Hey I bet that scene was him doing black face with the shoe polish" I didn't believe him, but humored him by looking up the scene on the internet, and found, in fact, that he was right. I wasn't really surprised though, because the episode was made in 1946.

I see that 2006 hitman thing like 5 times a day on the internet. Can we get over it? It's as if she is the only person ever to successfully defend herself from a killer.
