This is the reason why the quiet ones snap.

I have at least one person like this in all of my classes and I swear to **** I'm going to slam my textbook against one of their faces one day.

I hope its in world history. That textbook is massive.

The funny thing about this is that the same thing happens to me at work.

I work at a processing plant and I stand in one area all day basically, cutting meat. My mentality is that I go to work, get **** done, and get paid every Friday.
Yet there's some random girl that insists on bugging me and asking me too many questions when I simply do not want to talk at all. I had to tell her that I'm not her friend or "I don't come to work to make friends." I even had to flat out ignore her since I honestly do not want to talk to anyone at my job.

A few other people make small talk to me, but that's about it. It's just that she's the main problem to me everytime I go to work.

Quite a few people can't really tell the difference between shy, introverted, and I just don't want to talk to you.
But you could always take it positively, as the guy that says that is probably a good guy who is just concern and wants to be friendly with you or something.

There's a distinct difference, though, between wanting to start a friendly conversation and callously calling someone out on their diction.

You don't have to be shy to not talk a lot.

******* this
when you're sitting quietly and don't really want to talk
and he just starts ******* talking with you and asking why you don't talk
and when you tell him to shut the **** up, teacher notices you and tells you to be quiet

My whole highschool experience in one meme.

I was always quiet in class. Not because I was shy, but because everyone just annoyed the **** out of me
By sophomore year though my classmates didn't bother to harass or ask me stupid questions because I would be a dick to them
I didn't have many friends in high school

We had a 6 foot 7 shy guy in class who snapped. It was epic.
He knocked a guy cold out.

I always have a problem with people asking me why i dont talk and why "I always look mad."

I usually just say "Because my dads dead and i was beaten as a child, and now im mad at the world."

That stuns them enough to get them to shut the **** up for the rest of the class.

There's a guy in my college who never says a word, he hasn't since high school. Never even hello, or answering the register. Not one.
I sometimes say hello and hope he doesn't blank me, but he always does. I say it in case he ever decides to make friends, I want him to know I'm a friendly guy.

i hate how much of a deal my cless makes when i actually do talk. i mean, i know i don't say a lot but when i do feel like talking it's not like i'm going to start telling futures and predicting the apocalypse.

I hate whenever I don't say a word for a while the topic of conversation trends towards how I'm not talking. Especially when the people I'm with have been talking about ******** I don't even know about.
#49 - anonymous (09/04/2013) [-]
I had the same problem, but I'm not even shy. I'm just a quiet person and I don't feel the need to fill every moment with conversation.
