Just the Job.

I honestly thought series J was over until that one came out.

By the time they get to Z they'll all be dead....

No rush...

They can't finish the show until Alan answers a question correctly with 'Blue whale'

**cookiie rolled a random image posted in comment #3730089 at Friendly **
Actually, Alan got to answer correctly with blue whale in the France episode
User avatar #108 to #107 - kikx (09/02/2013) [-]
He did? I remember one time the answer was Blue whale but he didn't get it first.
User avatar #112 to #108 - cookiie (09/02/2013) [-]
Stephen asked a question in french, Alan was *like ... what?*
Then Stephen said the answer was something Alan had wanted to say for a time, and then Alan said blue whale. Something like that anyhow (and the answer was blue whale)

I'm curious about how British TV works. Because every now and then I find out about a show (that is pretty funny and extremely simple) that already has 200 season... How?!
User avatar #98 to #27 - LePedobear (09/02/2013) [-]
QI has about 11 seasons. its been going since 2002. due to come back on some time soon i think.

Britain, where not having adverts on your TV makes amazing programming
User avatar #93 to #92 - ctenop (09/02/2013) [-]
We have lots of adverts, just not on BBC1/2, but you have to pay a Tv licence, even if you never watch it....
User avatar #94 to #92 - iamnuff (09/02/2013) [-]
what the **** part of Britain do you live in?

we have adverts every 15 minutes.
User avatar #96 to #94 - ctenop (09/02/2013) [-]
Then in the ads you switch to dave/bbc 3 as the adverts don't sync

London, and I watch all my US shows online instead of waiting a month or 2 to arrive over here, Channel 4 and 5 are crap, ITV is reality ******** and BBC 1, 2 and three have provided me with loads of my favourite shows: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Mock the Week, Outnumbered, QI, Top Gear, Being Human, Robin Hood, The Armstrong and Miller show, Black adder, Dads Army, and a hell of a lot more

A pretty neat playlist for any who likes Q. It contains almost a hundred episodes. far:www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA20F47AD756070F3

QI, as others have said already. Go. Watch. Now. Most episodes are on youtube. It's such a brilliant invention, that show, very cosy and hilarious and it genuinely helped me out of depression, I'm not even joking.

Maybe he watched a Bit of Fry and Laurie? Or Blackadder? Or even Jeeves and wooster? Nomatter how he found him at least he recognizes his god-like status.

#88 to #23 - darshian (09/02/2013) [-]
A Tonne and a Ton aren't the same, as futurestas said. A Tonne is 1000kg 2200lbs & a Ton is 900kg 2000lbs
User avatar #30 to #23 - snowshark (09/02/2013) [-]
It's the same as a ton but spelled via the Queen's English. (Which is the official way of saying UK English.)

Its the most middle class quiz show on the planet and represents the intelligent side of Britain. If your looking for something else thats good try Mock the week, which represents the other 98% of Britain. Seriously though QIs amazing and im glad you discovered it
User avatar #83 to #24 - kikx (09/02/2013) [-]
I discovered Mock the week (because of FJ too). It's OK, but I don't find it all that hilarious because I just don't understand politics and current issues in Britain, but I do like some of the guys on the show.

QI on the other hand is just awesome. Fry's a great host and I picked up quite a lot of facts on that show, as well as had a good laugh.
Shame I ran out of episodes to watch
User avatar #62 to #24 - stultum (09/02/2013) [-]
Middle class is not the top 2%. That's called the upper class.
