I used to be able to lucid dream. But then something terrible happened and I can't do it anymore.

I wish I could too, my gf and I tried the nicotine patch and one of it's possible side effects were "vivid" dreams. I loved them, my girlfriend was terrified though. I had a Simpsons dream that was awesome so gif kinda related.

I only recall being able to dream lucidly perhaps once or twice. I know they were nightmares. It was always at a time when I was really freaked out about something and felt really trapped or cornered when I become aware that it was a dream. Then I'd just kinda say "Screw it evil monster, you're a fox now." or something then go off on a magical romp.

I love that word, pretentious. You could sum up almost every comment you read with it, such an easy word to use against someone.

like our dreams are any better sometimes. someone might just be dead and you're grieving throughout the night because you were the last person to know and then you're just like **** man the whole time.

Yeah... Try narcolepsy and sleep for 15+ hours a day almost every other day with no cure in sight, and without ever really dreaming... I would rather stay awake :/
