MFW Obama thinks people give a **** about Syria.
MFW Obama's big mouth said we'd get involved if chemical weapons were used, and now they want to get involved to save face.
MFW they're still considering military action when literally no one supports it.
MFW they say "It won't be like Iraq."
MFW it's just like Iraq.
MFW people think Obama isn't Bush 2.0

presidents don´t run **** .
It´s the illuminati jews who pull the strings.
Both Obama and bush and other presidents are just illusions of democracy.

I really don't care about the situation in Syria. I'm interested in observing it, but whatever happens doesn't matter in my book.

bush was actually a better president than obama, a lot of people dont realise that obama's visonary government is incredibly similar to an empire and he's trying to make "discreet" changes in order to further his goal

that's where you are wrong... George bush JR was 2.0... Obama is patch 2.1.3

It wouldn't necessarily be like Iraq because at the moment the plan would be to launch missiles from ships without deploying any ground troops.

I doubt if theres actually any chemical weapons
#304 to #79 - andrewandrewandrew (08/31/2013) [-]
They did surveys - 60% of americans support intervention if chemical weapons are involved

Was that survey done inside the whitehouse?

its basically like when apple released the white iphone.
#300 to #287 - roarflmao (08/31/2013) [-]
No 2.0 doesnt mean its an improved version, just a newer version and considering how obama before being elected wanted to change alot of bushes policies he was a buggy **** 2.0 version that didnt work better than the **** 1.0

I do care about Syria, but not enough to get directly involved ourselves. If anybody is going to do anything then it should be the UN since we're not even done with the two ******** wars we started over a decade ago.
User avatar #274 to #79 - kolsinder (08/31/2013) [-]
What was the point of your first assertion?
#202 to #79 - anonymous (08/31/2013) [-]
you can't say literally when there are lots of nations supporting it, France and most every Sunni Muslim nation. Also its completely different from Iraq, that was never a civil war
User avatar #126 to #79 - commontroll (08/31/2013) [-]
Except this one has the potential to turn into a world war thanks to Russia, China, and North Korea saying they would retaliate if Syria was attacked, and of course Pakistan would join in too, which would cause India to join us, finally Britain would get back involved, and then the UN would try to intervene, except nobody gives a **** about the UN.
#129 to #126 - hansjob (08/31/2013) [-]
Well, commontroll, Russia and China don't want to start a world war because of Syria, Russia is in no position to start a large scale war anyway, North Korea talks big and does nothing, as usual. China only back Russia to maintain a sort of balance of power in the world.

North Korea will get involved if China gets involved, and will certainly attack South Korea if American troops relocate to hotter fronts.

Russia already has 140,000 troops in Syria, Iran has said they will attack Israel if America bombs Syria, same with Syria, Israel will return the favour, Saudi Arabia will terrorize Russia, Russia will attack the Arabian Monarchy, we already have a hundred thousand troops just outside of Iran, and have sent in troops to gather intel and assess the situation. The Middle East is heating up, and the violence will eventually spill over. Just a matter of time.
#140 to #134 - hansjob (08/31/2013) [-]
the situation has been tense for decades, there have been countless wars and conflicts. I can almost guarantee it won't escalate to that.
User avatar #191 to #140 - dinkcool (08/31/2013) [-]
Alliances are dangerous things. Just look at world war 1 wich originally was a small war between Austria and Serbia about the assasination of the Austrian crown prince. I seriously doubt that Russia will intervene but if they do the rest of the world will most likely join just because of the alliances.
#639 to #191 - hansjob (09/01/2013) [-]
I'm not saying a world war will not happen. Humankind has a tendency to for tribal thinking. I'm just saying situation is not conductive for a world war, Syria will not be the catalyst. If anything, tensions between China and countries near it, like Japan or Indonesia, will provoke a bigger war.
User avatar #144 to #140 - commontroll (08/31/2013) [-]
Europe had tons of conflicts for decades, then two world wars happened. Only the middle east is much more fanatic on every side.

Just because it's unlikely, doesn't mean it can't happen. Things are shaping up too conveniently, and it could turn very sour for us.
#122 to #79 - anonymous (08/31/2013) [-]
A lot worse than Iraq. The Russia and china support Syria
User avatar #100 to #79 - Onemanretardpack (08/31/2013) [-]
Dude, it'd be worse than Iraq. Both sides have active militaries with heavy weapons and chemicals. And neither side would be happy we're there.
