Like he need to move to catch the ball.

It's not the most active, but it's certainly one of the hardest positions, being a good striker is hard, granted, but I'd rather not be in between the sticks when Lampard, Gerrard, Ronaldo etc. are hitting them legendary long shots capable of breaking hands/wrists, and there is a whole team relying on me to stop it.
User avatar #45 to #43 - tiredandhungry (08/28/2013) [-]
I actually broke my arm playing in goal. The guy completely misjudged a cross and headed my arm a good foot away from the ball. That was fun. I love being in goal though. Unless you completely **** up, you can't really have a bad game (blame it on the defence). Save a penalty and you're a hero. Being an indoor goalie is bloody hard work too

im 5' 7" and weigh around 117 and i go with large t shirts usually cause i'm too self conscious when wearing a small or medium.
User avatar #32 to #27 - thelastelephant (08/28/2013) [-]
6'0" and 120 lbs. I wear smalls because I hate the baggy feel of larger sizes. I do own two band shirts in women's sizes because those were the only ones that fit.

I'm 6' 3" and I weigh around 175 and I go with small shirts usually cause I lift, a lot.
#42 to #30 - anonymous (08/28/2013) [-]
im sorry to burst your bubble, but 6'3" and 175lbs(even with like 3%BF) still means you are a scrawny **** ... and if you were muscular(you aren't) you would know that wearing a size larger looks much better(they drape off of your muscles making an illusion of being larger, unlike shrinkwrap toolish shirts 5 sizes too small)
#56 to #42 - lemonn (08/28/2013) [-]
But that is my weight and I'm not scrawny, my body fat percentage is about 8.5, I'm not sure how you can form an opinion on how I look over a description of my height and weight. I've been lifting for over 3 years to combat a heart defect and I workout almost every day of the week, don't be so quick to judge people. I know this is the internet but you could show a little common decency. I worked hard to get to where I am no one can undermine that. So yeah I ******* lift.
User avatar #28 to #27 - killerliquid (08/28/2013) [-]
5'5" 136lbs here, you should look in the mirror and look at yourself with good posture. That's how I got more confidence.
User avatar #29 to #28 - killerliquid (08/28/2013) [-]
PS I wear medium.

I'm a small guy.

Mediums are too big, smalls are too small.

I generally go with smalls though, because they're more comfortable.

We need more clothes sizes here in america without having things custom made.

You can usually pay a small amount to get your t-shirts/shirts whatever altered, I do this with nearly all my clothes now as it makes them look a lot better on me.

User avatar #22 to #2 - ktbmnf ONLINE (08/28/2013) [-]
just wear medium. that is if you like slacky or baggy clothes
User avatar #21 to #2 - thepyras (08/28/2013) [-]
Start wearing woven shirts. Anything with buttons in a small kindof bridges the gap between small and medium. I have the same problem you do, just that with tshirts the sleeves are too short and depending on the store it came from they're too tight.

I know that feel. I'm 5'11" but really skinny with a short torso. Mediums look too big on me, but smalls look tight and make me feel like a douchebag for wearing a super tight shirt. But apparently medium-sized shirts from Europe (the UK) fit me well because people aren't ******* fatasses over there like in America.

As a tall skinny guy, I can confirm.
Larges are too, in lack of a better term, fat.
Mediums are too short.
so either I look like I'm wearing a little kids shirt, or I look like I gained 30 pounds.

I wear XXL's, i like the roomyness
#13 to #7 - adu (08/28/2013) [-]
Yeah, as 6'5" 160lbs, I know exactly the feeling.
#14 to #13 - flylikefluttershy (08/28/2013) [-]
6'2, 130lbs.
Honestly, mediums fit as well on me height-wise as my little brothers shirts, and he's 8 >_>
I'm hoping to get rich one day just so that I can get clothes that actually ******* fit.
User avatar #16 to #14 - adu (08/28/2013) [-]
I must be more legs than anything, cause pants are the problem for me. 90% of the jeans that are long enough need a belt to stay on my waist.
User avatar #19 to #16 - commontroll (08/28/2013) [-]
Agreed dude, It's pants for me that are the problem. Have to have a belt every time, and even still they don't cover my ankles.
#17 to #16 - flylikefluttershy (08/28/2013) [-]
I wear like a 30x34, It's a difficult size to find. I'd imagine anything longer than that would be damn near impossible.
User avatar #18 to #17 - adu (08/28/2013) [-]
I've been fortunate to widen just a bit, so 32x34 and 34x34 both have decent chances of not needing a belt.

I can't find the correct size pants. I get a size bigger and use a belt, if it is a size smaller I can't get them on without straining.

I fell your pain. I recently ordered a medium hoodie and got really excited when it arrived, only to realize that it was sized weird and way too big on me.

needless to say I was devastated.
