And if he was a little tipsy himself? When a guy is drunk he's held responsible for his actions anyway. This shouldn't be, and is not, any different for women. There's no such thing as "sober consent". If she said yes, that's her own fault. If he said yes, it's HIS own fault. And if she was the one to ask first, then she has no excuse, drunk or not. She was still conscious, still awake, still able to speak her mind the whole time. It's her own fault she consumed alcohol, just as it would be his if this situation were swapped.

Well she was a really good friend of mine, we'd partied a lot together before. She couldn't have been blackout drunk, because we really didnt end up drinking that much.

Well I have no shame in what I did, because I know that I did nothing wrong.

I think that over time she realized what really happened.
