This is actually my comment from one of the rape pictures about a week ago, though it applies aptly here as well.

>Be 16
>One of my friends birthday, she's turning 18
>She's ******* gorgeous.
>Get a Hotel, Party hard, People start passing out and leaving.
>Lay down in one of the beds, she comes and lays down next to me
>Touch touch grab grab feel feel
>She says "I've got a condom in my purse, if you want . y'know."
>FUUUCKYEAH
>Give her the sex for 10-15
>She's on top
>Tells me "Maybe we shouldn't do this right now"
>pass out

The next day she told a couple of her friends that she thinks i raped her, and she woke up in the middle of it.

Bitch, if you woke up in the middle of it, you woke up on top.

>She's disappeared
>Everyone in my university course is giving me evil glares
>(What the hell did I do?)
>Ex calls me and starts yelling at me out of nowhere
>Girl from last night tells everyone i raped her so my ex wouldn't be mad at her
>MFW i have no friends at uni now because of the girl who cried rape

watched the video.

"it's my opinion"
"I think"
"it's now obvious based on the evidence..."

every single point made in the video is subjective and made without any evidence, yet he calls his personal beliefs "evidence." he's calling it "understanding rape statistics," yet he doesn't provide ANY statistical evidence on which to base his claims. you can't make criticism based on conjecture and non-evidence based beliefs, and expect to be taken seriously.

of course, he's blocked comments or ratings, so that no one can call him on the obvious strawman fallacies in his argument.

the statement in the content is accurate. the video is not.

The video would just discourage women who are 'genuinely raped' to report the rape to the police- who is going to believe them if everyone thinks they're actually making a false accusation??
Before you thumb me down, something needs to be done about the women who falsely accuse- they are the ones who really make the genuine rape victims hard to believe.
conclusion.jpg- Rape is wrong. False accusations is wrong.

The video claims 50% of rape allegations are false. Then towards the end, he says 90% are. ***************** . This guy gives no sources for his data either. They're mindless estimations. And what feminists claim 98% of rape allegations are true? Stop focusing on these minorities of radicals. Getting real tired of this. At the top of his ****** website, angryharry.com, he claims "Gender Equality Is Not Achievable - Ever". Sounds like a misogynistic ******* to me.

Story Time
>Be me 18
>Walking down road when stopped by cops
>Questioned about string of rapes in area
>Friend of mine comes driving by and stops
>The cops tell him the dilly-o
>He busts out laughing and drives off after telling the cops I'm a virgin.

I have several problems with that video.
1. Comments and ratings are disabled. This tactic is also employed by proponents of movements that go against overwhelming evidence, such as creationism. This suggests that the uploader knows that the argument would not survive the critiques that would result from an open forum.
2. At 1:55, the author states that "In [his] own view, these days there are so many incentives for women to make all sorts of accusations of abuse of some kind or other that they are in fact far more likely to make false allegations than they are to be raped." He provides no evidence for this. Indeed, he admits that this is just "[his] own view." Then, by 6:20, his guess has somehow morphed into evidence: he asserts that the "evidence suggests very strongly indeed that, at the very least, most of them are false accusers."
3. The author denounces PSAs that encourage women to report abuse or rape, because he believes that this increases incidence of false allegation. No evidence is provided for this. Additionally, he ignores the possibility that such PSAs may increase the reporting of genuine rapes, thereby increasing the true:false allegation ratio. By considering only one possible contribution of these PSAs, the author is cherry picking, which is a logical fallacy.
4. There are numerous reasons why so many raped women do not go to the police, among them: shame, embarrassment, fear of not being believed, etc. The author does not acknowledge that would-be false accusers would face the same pressures against going to the police.

Do not let the pictograms and the British accent fool you: his argument is cherry-picked and lacking in evidence.

I feel bad for the actual rape victims. It's girls that try to lie about their bad nights and such that make rape victims go through hell when trying to prove their own case. Rape isn't something you should shout and claim so casually.
User avatar #38 - skysailor (08/27/2013) [-]
One of the problems with rape statistics is that it is so under reported. This is can be seen when you compare official crime rates and the National Crime Victimization Survey.

**** it.
Why do men even get blamed for "raping" a girl this way?
Rape is having sex with someone against their will, not getting drunk with someone, having sloppy sex, regretting it in the morning and calling it rape.

Men shouldn't have to take responsibility for the woman.
Most of the time it's the women who instigate the sex, it should be up to them to know when they are too drunk, not anyone else.
It's basically saying: "I'm too selfish and idiotic to take responsibility for my actions so let this guy take the blame"

Of course, there's a point when everyone is way out of it.
If a woman is clearly on the point of passing out or collapsing, you shouldn't do anything. But if she is capable of telling you she wants it, or saying she wants it, then it's her fault if she regrets it in the morning.

If were to get drunk tonight, **** some girl, then report it as rape, I'd get nothing out of it because I have a penis.
Christ, double standards regarding gender in the first world is ridiculous.
Just like men's claims of rape are rarely taken seriously, in some countries men can't even get a job around small children unless a female is supervising.

People need to learn to trust other people, and should learn to take responsibility for their own actions.

The issue is, in many areas it actually is considered rape to have sex with someone when they're drunk
The drunk person is considered unable to consent
Now, whether or not such laws are morally right, that is a whole nother debate
But guys and gals alike should be aware of these sort of laws, in case they wind up sleeping with someone who wants to **** them over for a bad night

"Just because you regretted it right after, doesn't make it rape."

What has happened to men of this age? Why can't we all just be friendly and caring to people instead of taking advantage of someone in a given situation. If a girl is drunk and wants to have sex there are some moral details that should be considered: 1. Is this experience really worth the results that can come with it? 2. Given her state of mind is it really a good idea to get physical with her when her judgement is not up to par due to alcohol. I just wish we could live in a world where people aren't fueled with selfish desires and instead look out for other fellow humans in a way that raisess our ethical values.

Hate when People claim they have been raped because they regret and/or was too drunk. They dont know what it feels like to get raped, and every rape victim should be belived, and for every false accusation, the People who actully got raped have a smaller chance to be belived.
