I'm a fan of time travel, but doesn't the fact that we don't have it now means that we will never have it?

Well it's impossible to have a time machine without inventing it. This means that say some genius in the year 2057 figures time travel out and builds a time machine and they decide to go back in time to give it to their past self. When the past self receives it he will no longer need to build a time machine which will result in him never inventing the time machine meaning that he will never invent it and give it to his past self. So no matter what we can never own a time machine before it is invented.

There either will never be time travel, because then someone would have already traveled back in time so we have it sooner, or we already have it and it is being kept secret by the goverment.

I want the capacity for time travel at the point in my personal timeline where I'm wise enough to use it responsibly but young enough to actually enjoy it.

I've read building a time machine theoretically is possible, but the limit that you can go back in time with it is the instant the machine is powered on. So that means that as soon as we invent a time machine and build it, there'll be a ******** of beings coming out of it. ******* dangerous if you ask me.

Does the fact that no one has travelled to this time mean that time travelling will never be invented? Or do they just not like us? Either way, that makes me sad.
