It says we're the only life to touch a planet that isn't our own.
It isnt true, not because of extra terrestrials, because we haven't touched another planet.

so is the theory of gravity, the theory of evolusion, the big bang theory etc

the scientific definition of a theory, is quite different from the normal "theory" which is essentially a guess.
it is however true that the theory of dark matter, is far less prooven than the theories of evolution and gravity.

you could say that.
though i would say that the theory of dark matter is less controversial, and a bit more established, than occam's razor.
mostly because it's a theory to explain what we don't know, and not to change what we already know.

What about dead skin cells and other things we left on the rover? They might still be left on the rovers wheels, and therefore, we have touched the planet.

on a semi-related note, NASA believes the Voyager 1 probe may have left the boundries of our solar system, making it the first man-made object to do so

pretty neat stuff
unfortunatly it will be out of power by 2030

they've claimed it had reached it since 2010, since the "edge" isn't exactly a definitive border, they were never really sure

I don't think they're even sure, this article written in june said it was still in the system
www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/28/nasa-voyager-1-spacecraft-newfound-region-solar-system_n_3515547.html

yet this article written 2 days ago said it left last year
www.richarddawkins.net/news_articles/2013/8/25/voyager-left-solar-system-last-year-new-research-shows

point was that it will be out for sure in less than a year, and that's pretty ******* cool IMO

It left the solar system a few times already due to varying definitions, or so I have heard.
