Nah they'll know because hipsters will keep buying old phones like that to keep "cool"

Tell me what this is.

Tell me how much we still use them today.

I bought one of these for ***** and giggles at an airport the other day.
Not to be hipster but just so I could someday have my phone ring in class and pull this full sized **** out of my pocket.

***** we're talking 2035 here, that was a long time ago. In a galaxy far away and **** .

And then we just make sure they watch all the shows from when we were kids..
#135 - trollmobile ONLINE (08/27/2013) [-]
no they won't, they'll just accept it as the call symbol.
just like kids now accept that the save symbol is a floppy disk, despite that 90% of them have never seen one, and don't know what a floppy disk is.

***** we'll probably have hologram communications and **** , complete with sketchy blue static and looping of "Help me Obi Wan, you're our only hope"

Alternatively, orange holograms. With giant squid robots coming from space to kill us all.

really? you mean they won't change it? not at all? makes sense seeing as how whenever i think of a phone <this is what comes to mind.
User avatar #7 - pappathethird (08/26/2013) [-]
And they will be like: "That was phone?"
User avatar #2 - logicstrike (08/26/2013) [-]

#5 - icanhasaccount ONLINE (08/26/2013) [-]
wrong ...they'll be that dumbed down they won't be capable of wondering about anything and just accept it as is

Implying that in 2035 such old-fashioned technology as "apps" will still exist. Voice control all the way.

...getting really ******* tired of these "omg like if ur a 90's kid" whorish posts...it's getting really annoying!
User avatar #62 - whalecow (08/27/2013) [+] (1 reply)
Really? I ******* hate these posts so much, the logic behind it is so flawed. That's like saying kids from my generation won't ever know what a telegraph is, because I've sure as hell never used one, let alone seen one outside of some sort of museum. And I'm pretty sure eight tracks weren't too popular in the 90s either, but because I actually listened to my parents growing up I ******* learned what they were. Also there are and will always be movies and shows based in the past where they use older technology.

I seriously doubt it. We haven't seen these kind of microphones for decades, yet we all know it's a microphone
#61 to #37 - bowties (08/27/2013) [-]
Fine

No one uses these, yet people still know this is a phone

I once tried to make a holocaust pun
but 80% of the people I told it to don't know what the holocaust was.
also, all of the white people that heard it got the joke

pic related, it's the joke
