Honestly I'm becoming less pessimistic with Affleck, i mean does Michael ******* Keaton look anything like Batman should? Hell no, but he did a good job.

Ben Affleck has really evolved as an actor. I mean just compare Dare Devil to Argo. I actually think he will do all ok.

Most of his good movies he plays a smaller role relative to everyone else. Lets look at daredevil. The focus is all on him and no supporting actors, which doesn't suit him well. In Argo he was surrounded by other good supporting actors. We have to remember that this movie will be about superman and batman, not just batman. As long as the director has good supporting roles with it, then the movie would be sound. The problem is that the director I believe is the same director for the last superman movie, which to be honest, was not good. The characters did a fine job, but the script was really bad.

Affleck was pretty good already at the beginning of his acting career. He got an Academy Award in 1997, and that was not unjustified. He just chose to act in some pretty ****** movies and some silly action flicks.

Yeah, but he could 'act' the part. Unlike Ledger we have a very good idea of how Affleck plays his characters and watch Daredevil if you want to see. (He was Daredevil in case you didn't know.)

I really hated Bale as Batman because he was so obvious in the character. He just tried way too hard and if you said "That guy's probably Batman" people would agree, he'd not have his secret identity for long. Keaton on the other hand didn't even have to try. As Wayne he neither looked nor acted like a guy you would expect had a secret double-life but as Batman he was effortlessly intimidating.

That said, whilst Bale made a bad Batman I could see him at least being Batman. Just because he was really unsubtle about everything he did doesn't mean I don't believe that he would be Batman. Not the kind of Batman that suits me but at least some kind of Batman.

Affleck just has none of that. I have yet to see him display a single quality that I would expect to see in Batman.
