One is an arcade shooter and one is a teamwork-based shooter.

It's all about preference, but most of my friends that prefer CoD are moving to Battlefield because of the repetitive nature of the series as of late, but I don't see anything different from Battlefield.

**** both games, but I enjoy Batttlefield more.

User avatar #388 to #348 - Mortuus (08/26/2013) [-]
It's good that you're able to enjoy both games, there are many who jump on the bandwagon for either one.

I don't enjoy the style of gameplay that CoD provides, but I have nothing against others for playing it. Battlefield is just more appealing to me. Both games are becoming repetitive, as I mentioned in my comment, so I believe I'll be trying some new shooters out.

Have a nice day.

ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
They can hear, and see what you're visually thinking. This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

Asians hide their mind reading abilities by a lot of them having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THIS!!!!!

This....made perfect sense.

Why does this have so many thumbs?

Oh right, FunnyJunk 12 year old bandwagon must of been through here. Also OP ( dishesaredone ), you intentionally stickied his comment because he had a personal insight on the situation. He wasn't rude, he wasn't insulting anyone for playing a certain game, he was just being honest. You stickied is comment fully knowing the FJ ******** bandwagon would thumb him straight to hell.

I don't like this trend of posts that people are thumbing down being stickied so that they can get thumbed down to oblivion. Sure, this was a contradictory post, but does it really deserve 123 red thumbs? No. Its just excessively poking fun at someone who made a mistake and is willing to take the repercussions instead of deleting the comment. **** that.

That statement is in reference to the fact that CoD is repetitive, yet people don't mention that fact about Battlefield regardless of the fact that it too is nearly as repetitive.

The amount of thumbs I received seems to indicate that this point is not understood.

It happens. I still have the content thumbed due to the fact that it was slightly humorous.

OP is a mere user attempting to garner thumbs by stickying my comment in place of his due to the current community views on such an action.

I believe the lack of a clear explanation was a major contributing factor to the current sea of red thumbs that I inhabit.

I meant to say that if I had to choose between the two my choice would be Battlefield 3 due to the fact that it is more appealing to me than Call of Duty. This was mentioned in quite a few other comments by other users.

Be forewarned. You have to ******* grind to get GP. You get maybe, 200-300 every match, and to buy a gun permanently you have to spend about 6000GP. Or you can rent them and attachments (these apply to almost all guns you have. So if you buy a really long barrel for a combat rifle you can still use it on your SMG).

You can also buy packs with GP for about 100-300GP which will either give you **** , or maybe a gun, grenade, or piece of equipment permanently.

They also throw out Weekly Weapons which you buy for like, 1 GP and they last a day. This week it's a snub pistol, last week it was a shotgun. Every time you level up, you get a message where you can redeem a pack. Open the pack and you get some decent stuff (usually). Like I got an SMG I can only unlock at level 20 or something at level 11.

or, you know, you could not pick a shooter. you could play games like fallout, skyrim, L4D1/2, the last of us, bioshock, dead space, or even a sports game like FIFA (yeah i know, **** me right?). the gaming world is full of wonderful, non shooter experiences.
User avatar #390 to #259 - Mortuus (08/26/2013) [-]
I've played and enjoyed most of the games you mentioned, save for the sports games, but I enjoy a shooter to switch things up a bit.

I think I've logged a little over 600 hours on Skyrim and I know I've logged 400 hours on Fallout 3.

Star wars: republic commando is an awesoome game, but it's quite short and offers a 'meh' multiplayer experience. It's good for about 2 days of fun, though. But why don't you try strategy games? The total war series is 50 to 75% off on steam this week...
