C U DEE DADDEH
iran kismet:
I' m not a misandrist, but Must don' t think boys are as interested in
gaming as women are. I mean, women keep playing despite the vast
majority of games being explicitly targeted towards boys and only
boys, we' re obviously in it tor the games themselfes_ However, We
heard boys complaining about how gaming has been ruined forever
because a few games have women protagonists that have
personalities beyond "tits." If they were true gamers like us, they' d be
able to look past that tor the love of the game.
Seriously, fake gamer boys, I' m not a misandrist, but perhaps you
should stop trying to earn our attention via gaming and get back in the
garage where you belong.
honestly i bet they only play bideo games because they think their
girlfriends expect them to. guys, you don' t need to play bideo games to get
our attention. you can stop now.

How about no one actually gives a **** and we all just play what we want regardless of gender of either character or player?

The problem here is that guys that play games don't whore for attention using their gender. Female gamers are the same, but self proclaimed "girl gamers" use their gender to attract attention to themselves as if they deserve just because they exist.

Someone with a user name that contains "Man" or "Boy" is not going to get **** for saying their gender. Someone with a user name that contains "Woman" or "Girl" is going to be called an attention whore or told that they are probably a guy.
Guys can full on get the most masculine name every, brag about their dick, say online how they bang chicks or some **** and no one is going to give crap about their gender. If someone on the internet mentions that they are a girl they can get the "DONT HIT ON ME SILLY BOYS LOL".
Of course all the people with neutral names are assumed to be guys so people think that all women on internet games are attention whores because they think the only women who play games use voice chat or have a feminine name.

Okay, that second comment is utter ******** .
Guys who play games play them because we like to play games, not to impress women.

In my truest >>>>OPINION<<<<

I like my boobies on female protagonists.
They make worthwhile the wait the boring story line and cut scenes
until I have to kill more hostiles.

gone home recieves reviews in the 95-100 range and is mentioned as a GOTY candidate (excluding forbes and eurogamer), for being a house exploring simulator, with a progressive story (if it wasn't for the lesbian thing, it would get no attention)
meanwhile, the wonderful 101, a game with amazing comboes, a learning curve, and tons of amazing gameplay recieves 60-75 (also with exceptions)
i can't see that as anything but my hobby being ruine d, and the thing that has changed, that is most easily spotable, is feminism, LGBT issues and AAA cinematic games, that need to target as large an audience as possible.

an excample of things going wrong:
mirrors edge was an innovative game, with beatiful art, some of the best controlls in any game, excellent running (and mediocre combat/gunplay that should have been removed), and a pretty good main character, that is hardly misogynist in any way.
then, before there is talk about the sequel, Anita Sarkeesian visits dice, and talks about how the game was too hard for women to complete.

for ME2 it is ammounced to "cater to a wider audience", the trailer shows NO running gameplay, only combat, and there are unconfirmed rumours about assassins creed style "RT+A TO FREERUN"

the only hope i have in gaming is japan ATM. they suffer less from feminism, and isn't quite as "everything must be a blockbuster" in their mentality.
i am looking forward to dark souls 2, and nothing more in the comming months.
