I turned 21 in Iraq.
My mom sent 8 cakes through the mail along with a ton of other goodies and surprisingly they all made it. The cakes were gone in less than a day and the platoon was forever grateful for another one of my moms famous packages.

I didn't get to work with the germans when I was in Afghanistan but I heard they did good things
