The 2nd one was the best.

The 1st was written terrible and I incredibly despised the 3rd one.

My favorite dystopian series and favorite book series now is the divergent series. It's amazing. I advise a read.

It's a dystopian book. It's an actiony series with a romanticy side to it.

I'll give you the background.

"In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into 5 factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue- Candor, Abnegation, Dauntless, Amity, and Erudite. On an appointed day of every year, all 16 year olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is- she can't have both. So She makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are- and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it ca mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves...or it might destroy her.

This is my favorite book series; beating Harry Potter. Which had been my favorite series since I was in 2nd grade. I think that might also pertain that I felt very relatable to the main characters and knew someone that I really liked that I felt was incredibly similar to Tris.

I read the first a couple years ago and am rereading them now because the third book comes out October. It's also getting a movie adaption. which I'm kind of septic on. Hopefully it's good.
