I see that many of you keep saying, "It looks like he has enough." The point is that since he doesn't know how to use them correctly, he won't be able to get over the wall. He couldn't just "build an insanely tall ladder" because he doesn't know that's how they're used. However, if he had infinite resources, he would definitely be able to continue piling the ladders upon each other until he was over.

...well maybe if he actually ******* STACKED them instead of having just a giant ass pile, he'd be up and over the wall already

Well, maybe that's the point of the picture? He doesn't KNOW.

so in the end if you do have enough resources you can accomplish it, it is just more difficult if you don't know it's proper use.

Right. If he had known how to use a ladder, he'd have only needed one or two to get over and it would be much easier. The point of the picture is still there, but I think it might just need to be worded differently. Maybe without the "infinite resources" since the picture seems to say that the man cannot get over because he has these resources but does not know how to use them.

Essentially we both are arguing about the merits of the picture itself I feel as if it's point has been made like you stated but it was poorly represented in that it gives the impression that he can still get over.
