Well I've made it 18 years without death, so this would be worth it.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that having eternal life would suck balls...
I mean watching all your loved ones die before you.
I think eternal life would be more of a curse than anything else.

That's where the memory loss comes in handy.

There is a serious problem with this, which is that eventually you will be composed of 100 percent scar tissue. Since you will spend the majority of your time in that condition, I'd like to know how comfortable that would be before pressing the button.

Maybe you should stop fucking dying.

Related Question: You are immortal. After every death you wake up in your bed the next day.

but

You feel the pain of every death and know one believes you when you said you died yesterday, even though they saw you die.

Immortality is pretty much the last thing I'd ever want. I don't understand why anyone would want immortality unless there is a way to end your own life.

There are two things I desire, either to live forever or to have never existed.

Mortality is such an ugly thing, the chance to become a god... living throughout the ages. I can only imagine it. You would never have to fear any mortal, and could work your way up to king or emperor, guiding or even simply watching over humanity.

Your loved ones will die, but you will live on. You can watch over your offspring and your descendents.

The chance of losing your memories is significant, but the odds are in your favor. You can keep a records to refill you in when and if you lose memories, and by the time you reach the future I'm sure you can even record your memories in external storage just in case.

You could witness the end of the universe, perhaps even the birth of a new one, you could travel the universe and discover all of its secrets... it would truly be a blessing.

So many people say they don't want immortality, but there is nothing I could ever possibly want more than to live forever.

1%?

The odds of Uncrating an Unusual in TF2 is 1%, and I never unbox those.

I'm pressing it.

Why do people wanna live forever? watch everything and everyone you love around you die.... Plus that scar could be a big ass slash in the face...
