If a guy is a child by swirling about on a wheelchair, is this guy a baby then?

I'm 24 and I see 50-60 year olds every now and then playing pokemon. Once I asked one why he's playing a game meant for kids, and he replied;

"Well I don't see any label on it saying it's only for kids. Besides, this is the only thing my grandkids play these days and I don't want to be a boring old man when they come by for a visit."

>uttered by someone dicking around on a swivel chair

What are you 10? Or is something as simple as a sentence in more than one row just too much for you to comprehend?

You should go into life with a adult's mind but a child's heart.

The entire concept of differentiating between adult and child is invented by humans to create order in society. Biologically it does not work that way. All growth and development happens gradually. It's not like there's a definitive goal that the body is striving to reach, and then when it gets there, it stops and stays like that. Nothing is ever static. You keep developing/growing at a slower and slower rate until you reach your late 20's, and then you start deteriorating faster and faster until you die. At what age or level of development people are seen as adults depends entirely on culture and society. In a society with a complex sophisticated structure, like for example the western world today, the age at which people are officially considered adults will be relatively high, as the level of experience and development needed to survive independently in that society is high. In a more primitive society where a lower level of experience/education/development is needed to function individually within that society, the age will be lower. You can easily observe this if you start looking at different countries cultures or historical periods.
I believe some clever person once quite paradoxically said, that you are an adult once you're old enough to realise that adulthood is basically an illusion.
Not in those exact words though.

That's silly, then what is an adult? How did we come to envision what a real adult looks like if we all secretly are immature kids inside? There has to be an origin as to maturation and where it comes from.

not necessarily (not saying I agree with the guy). but it's like believing the earth is flat and being sure of it, because that's the most popular belief and doctrine
