I am actually scared for my life because I am one who wants to live not in merica and live in europe. But because homosexual hate is spreading in europe (especially in russia, Greece, and france.) I am actually kinda scared for my life. For those who thinks things are getting better, they are, in only very few places, it is getting alot worse in more parts of the world.

Russian gay law does not ban homosexuality, if you want to be gay, be gay in the privacy of your bedroom, what Russians are worried about is kids seeing homosexuals, despite the fact many may consider that intolerant and such, its the way it is, it simply bans gay pride demonstrations, if a country chooses to not accept gays then that is the country's own problem, not the world's as western media describes it. It is completely overhyped.

Choosing to do nothing is still making a decision and still makes you responsible for the consequences. Russia's gay laws are nothing but barbaric and they should have some sense slapped into them.

actually there are many neo nazi groups currently in russia that capture, and toutre (to death, or enough that they commit suicide) gay people that do not do anything bad, they dont even promote homosexuality. This happens in public in the broad daylight. And the police and government knows about it, and dont do anything about it.

Well the neo nazis are not the government, and if the police doesn't like gays it's not like we can really do anything about it, we Russians are on average very conservative on terms of traditions and such. Im not against gays, its just the massive Western media coverage which is dissapointing, many many countries have far worse laws, but since its Russia the anti-gay law can be used as a tool the recent Snowden popularity.

I live in Germany and what i see and hear is the folowing:
In the USA there are many, many people, who literally hate gay people. And this is the issue. The Gay propaganda is a step to a future where there is no hate against any form of expression.

I don't hear much about any celebrity bragging about their homosexuality.

This is needed propaganda, let people do whatever the **** they want to do in their bedroom, it is not mine or yours business, telling others how they should live in their homes.

You really do come off as someone who dislikes people for being homosexual, you know, you should venture out sometimes and see how the world is instead of living with that tinfoilhat in the woods.

Wow? Because Ellen Degeneres is the only celebrity in the world?

I can also search for Straight Celebrities or Russians beating the living **** out of coloured people or homosexuals, you're not making much of a point here.

What a horrible human you are, why should you care if someone wants to show their homosexuality or not?

******* neanderthal, you are just another confused internet user that has read to much ******** and refuses to listen to someone else. It is YOU that have been brainwashed, you are no better than people that believe in reinkarnation or the end of the world in 2012. Shees...go back to school.

Butthurt? Dude, grow up.

I'm done, you're so far up with these conspiracy theories and it's obvious you dislike people for being homosexual.

To icewrath'. (for some reason i cannot click reply on his comment)

And you are not getting your strings pulled just because you are against homosexuals?
Eh well, despite your...delusions, homosexuality has never been as accepted as it is now, and the acceptance is increasing worldwide. Sorry "icewrath", you are loosing.

Sorry iceboy, but your arguments are nothing but flawed, and so far from "perfect arguments". I guess you sucked in school and society aswell? Probably everyone elses fault, amiright?

So done with people like you.

It is illegal to be a homosexual, be suspected of being a homosexual, or in any way claim that homosexuality is okay, in Russia. This applies not only to Russian citizens, but also to anyone who happens to be in Russia.

The next Olympic games are happening in Russia.

Do you not see the issue?

Ok let me say it again, no it is not illegal to be homosexual or be suspected, this was the case during the USSR but not now, is that really what the media tell you? That we kill and send gays to concentration camps? It is simply illegal to demonstrate about it, the only harm that can happen is being attacked by normal civilians. and secondly, there was olympic games in Nazi Germany, they put tons of laws against jews and etc yet noone gave a ****, and now look at this overhype.

Also, many ***** were given about the Olympics in Nazi Germany. Mostly because of their attitude towards blacks, not jews.

I have checked my facts. While being a homosexual is technically legal in Russia, there is a federal-level ban on "homosexual propaganda." This includes admitting your homosexuality in public, saying that homosexuality, bisexuality, or transgenderism are acceptable, and basically anything besides being, and saying you are, a straight cisgendered person.
