Pretty sure milk straight from a cow is full of bacteria.

Yeah, from a nasty-ass factory farm from cows given hormones so that their udders are so full that they drag on the ground, which in a CAFO is usually full of manure b/c they're not adequately cleaned...

Food is really not as scary as people have been taught to believe - the only reason we're told to cook our meat/pasteurize our meat is because our Mass-production facilities (CAFOs) and general distribution chain is so dirty.

People drink fresh raw milk all the time and are fine - you can buy it directly from willing farmers in the U.S. so long as you abide by some FDA rules.

Or... just... put some goddam effort into knowing where your food comes from

... and don't eat nasty factory-farmed food, which kills you slowly anyways.

"Unpasteurized milk can contain bacteria such as E. coli, listeria and salmonella, all of which can cause potentially fatal intestinal illnesses. More than 800 Americans have gotten sick from unpasteurized milk products since 1998, according to the CDC. Listeria can cause miscarriage, fetal death or severe illness in a newborn if you contract it while pregnant. Typical symptoms of food-borne illnesses include vomiting, diarrhea -- which might contain blood or mucus -- abdominal pain, fever and flu-like body aches."

you can get similar bacteria from human milk, although it is more rare as we are more cleanly.
53 deaths per year from raw milk, many probably from diseases the cow had.

not bad, considering skin diseases cause around 3000 deaths per year.
(too lazy to get the exact number, but 3k is close.)
