I will always like practical effects better.

Don't get me wrong, I love Avatar, Jurassic Park, LOTR, et cetera.

But in my heart Ridley Scott's Alien and John Carpenter's The Thing will always scare me, yet cgi-created monsters can't even rustle me.

Which is why the dilophosaurus and velociraptors scare me worse than the t-rex.

Yeah, the truth about the velocoraptors was that, in some scene, were actual peaple inside a custom costume, making their movements more bionic, and more awsome!

I agree with you, but there's something about the original Star Wars trilogy that I love. Just knowing that they managed to invent all of that **** amazes me.
