There are some articles which I've read on feminism and they talk as if they're trying to advocate gender equality yet it informs us to "recognise our male privilege" and go against our traditional male stereotypes. What I'm trying to say is that just like the content, the emphasis shouldn't just be placed on men, it should also be placed on women as well.

There are plenty of women who don't respect men or look down on them depending on their social status, they usually chew them out if they're socially awkward and they play around (or intentionally mislead) the poor naive guys, laugh about it where they justify it as typical feminine power or some **** that reeks of bitchiness. Women are not oppressed, they're not innocent, they're not victims, they're just as bad and as guilty as men in this world.

God dammit, I feel like I repeat myself in every anti-feminism post there is.

To be honest if women were respected as much as men, then 1/6 men would be rape victims and domestic violence statistics would also be 50/50 for females and males rather than 80/20.

90% of America's corporations are owned by white males, despite white males only making up 33% of the population. Women have nothing to gain from the systematic oppression of men, whereas men have a lot to gain by oppressing women (and black people).
#13 to #8 - teranin ONLINE (08/06/2013) [-]
you do realize that all of your statistics are incredibly far off, and you basically just took a **** out of your mouth just now, right?

Then again, I guess you do, since you did it anonymously. about 1/200 women will be the victim of sexual assault in their lifetime (an absolutely terrible number) but one which is not even remotely ******* close to 1/6, which is pulled from a debunked feminist-funded study. Domestic violence statistics are in fact a 66%-44% occurance rate, with a higher than 50% rate of single-perpetrator violence being done by women to men. Furthermore, the assertion that men oppress women based on the concept that 90% of big companies are owned by white men is utterly ridiculous, as it fails to take into account the fact that the population of white males who have such roles represents 0.00005% of the total white male population, while males make up over 75% of all homeless in the world. Men also make up 75% of all violence victims in the world.

Don't quote women's studies statistics at me as though they are fact, I went through that class, and even a cursory search for peer-reviewed data debunks every last one of those ******* biased statistics, and even the most rudimentary of critical thinking skills can figure out that an utterly insignificant amount of the population holding power cannot be representative of ever member of their particular gender or racial subset being equally powerful.

Seriously Anon, what the **** is wrong with you.

and the bandwagon rolls on

you guys bitch about feminism all the ******* time, this has nothing to do with it. It's about not treating women poorly around your child, so that he grows up with the same resentment towards women.
My dad's dad was abusive to my grandma, my dad's abusive to my mom and I. My little brother grabbed a frying pan from me a couple months ago and punched me when I tried grabbing it back. It's a cycle that doesn't end.
but no, you poor little privileged white boys are the only ones who are hurt. by feminists, by big scary black people, by "moralfags", by those nasty girls who aren't attracted to you, so they unfairly put you in the "friendzone" I'm so sorry you're treated so unfairly by the world.

I am getting so tired of these anti-feminist posts that I'm actually going to comment on this. You people need to realize that there are prejudices against women all around the world and the US. It looks like its worst in the US because you dont see it and joke about it. Just because you blessed and privileged ***** dont see it happening around you doesnt mean that it doesnt exist. That's like making light of cannibalism. It doesnt happen much where you live, but it happens regardless.

I wish I could be like some of you and say that women arent oppressed, but I can't because I've seen it happening too much. When I used to go to school, teachers never cheered on a female when she won a subject award because for some reason they are really unamused. But when a boy takes the award, the whole district joins in chorus for praise.

Another thing about feminism is that the oppression is being taught in churches. They teach a female that when she marries to the man of her dreams, she's supposed to listen to what he says and he is supposed to handle the money they both make and spend it on whatever he deems necessary. That's why I disagree with the church so much. I am a Christian but I think that most of the churches today are really misguided. Like for goodness sake Jesus said that women could be evangelists and elders. When He said we were free he meant it (Sorry for bringing in religion but be honest, that's where it stems from even if you're an atheist), so why are we still subjected to gender roles? Why is it that women dont get promoted to executive chief in most corporations? Don't tell me that it's because men just happen to be the harder workers. I've watched women work their asses off for a promotion only to find out some new guy with the same background as her get it.

It's like when a group just tries to inform the world about an issue everyone has to call bs.

Why is it that men make up dramatically more of the homeless? the violence victims? the workplace deaths? why are there more women in college by a large margin, but more men in technical fields? why did feminists enact the tender years doctrine and then women started divorcing their husbands at an unprecedented rate, and still start the vast majority of divorces due to the system being swung in their favor for divorce? Why does Oprah, a black woman who started with nothing, completely disprove your ******* assertions?

and, most importantly of all, why didn't you bother to do some research and actually examine evidence instead of becoming emotionally invested in only the issues that affect women?

hello guys this is a member of the female gender here. I've been seeing a lot of these posts and the comments really just make me want to explain something to everyone on here. I am a feminist and what I mean by that is that I want women to be able to do the same things as men without getting shamed or ridiculed. the keyword her being SAME. if anything i'm not a feminist I'm an equalist I'm not pro- women or anti men I just want my gender to be on the same level as yours. which it is too some extent (not as much as I'd like but I'm not going to talk about that here) the point I want to make is that I don't hate men and most feminists don't we don't want you to all burn in hell with forks jammed in your eyes, we just don't want to be sidelined or shamed anymore for our gender. there is a very small minority of WOMEN who are disrespectful and to MEN, just as there is a not such a small minority of MEN who are disrespectful and rude towards WOMEN but most of those WOMEN have got it wrong because if there's one thing we know for sure it's that feminists hate disrespect IN ALL FORMS. NOBODY SHOULD FEEL BAD OR UNSAFE OR PRESSURED BECAUSE OF THEIR GENDER, NO ONE. *drops mic

can't we just make one that says "teach your kids to be respectful to other people" and so on and so forth. im 17 and i don't want to sound like one of those tools thats like "my generation sucks" but the kids that ive grown up with are trashy and treat others like **** and as much as i want to say something to them they won't ******* listen anyways because they're arrogant **** heads. so lets teach the next generation to not be total dicks to each other. except for the swag fags. we teach them to hang themselves properly.

I find it funny that if the was really like the second one, none of you would be flipping **** about 'how about we treate EVERYONE well?'

I'm not saying you're wrong, because you're not, it's just.. Concerning.
