Yeah, they're kind of just like "Hey, God is a thing."

i'm agnostic but that's just disrespectful.
atleast they're not acting like brainwashed westboro leeches, they're just advocating their beliefs.
a lady came up to me who was promoting her church and asked me to say a prayer with her and i still did without going "HURR DURR GOD ISN'T REAL, I AM THE EUPHORIC NECKBEARDED FEDORA WEARING SUPREME BEING, YOU WORSHIP A MAGICAL ZOMBIE"

just no.

I think the ones in front are being rather jerkish. Judging from the signs behind, those people are simply sharing their faith, not protesting Comic-Con or anything else. Thats perfectly reasonable and acceptable. Not the place Id think of when I think of spots to do that, but perfectly fine. Theres no good reason to go out and heckle them for this.

I remember my friends and I once did something like this, we all got outrageous fake beards and made signs saying 'Praise the All father!' and my favorite 'The cravens shall freeze in hel! I recommend anyone with spare time and a blank sign take this up because it is possibly one of the most enjoyable psstimes ever.

I feel like the religious people had a positive message and then the other people came in for no reason other than they knew it would be a success to mock religious people at a convention like comic-con,

Those signs didn't seem that bad. Just seem like they are saying "Hey, God is good, it would be cool if you would check this bible out and religion see if you are interested." Maybe they were saying some ignorant stuff while holding them, I don't know. If all they were doing was holding a sign, I think you should just leave them be.

Why the **** do these religious nuts target Comic Con anyway, it has absolutely nothing to do with religion whatsoever.

There's nothing wrong about the signs it's just, wouldn't there be a better event other than comic con to do this at? Obviously people aren't there to focus on religion. People are there to enjoy themselves and not be preached to. It's just weird that these people would want to show up at this event.

I just want to point out, by the way, to everyone defending the religious picketers here, that the sign being blocked probably doesn't say
ALL HAVE TANNED.
It probably says ALL HAVE SINNED.
Now I know most of the people on this website are too busy being edgy and defending things they think no one else will because they think they look cool doing so, but this is ridiculous.
We are all supposed to be tolerant of others beliefs, religion, ways of life etc provided they aren't imposing on our own. But that's exactly the opposite of what those people are doing! Why is that ok when it comes to religion, but no where else?
Religion isn't beyond criticism, guys.

Maybe there is a guy behind them with a sign that says god hates figs.

Otherwise I don't see why they are upset the signs aren't that bad. They kind of like "Meh" we exist

There were people like this at my town's Zombicon a year or two ago, and they would scream at the people (a lot were kids) that they're abominations, they're going to hell, and that God hates them. I can't remember clearly, but I believe someone was killed or stabbed that night, so now we're not allowed to have zombie festivals anymore...

Everybody in the comments is saying that the signs are not all bad. Which is true the signs aren't extreme or anything, however, I was at Comic Con this year and when you pass by these people they use megaphones to tell you to repent for your sins. They preach about how we are all sinners and must repent. I'm personally not against them just standing around with their signs, but they could do without loudly telling people how awful they are. Like Mal from Firefly says, "Men of God make eveyone feel guilty and judged."

I wanna make a big ass sign that says "You're totally awesome" on it and just stand next to a highly populated street with it.

These counter protestors just seem like assholes nowadays, I mean I get protesting WBC but nowadays it's more like:
"A WHOLESOME CHRIST-BASED LIFESTYLE WILL MAKE YOU HAPPIER"
"LOL ************ COCKMONKEY CHRISTFAG I CAN HOLD A SIGN TOO"
Almost as ******** as fedora atheism.
