I actually enjoyed the endings in ME3. Hear me out.

I was always obsessed with paragon/renegade choices. I always thought, "Is this right? I know it's renegade, but is it the right thing to do?" So when these endings came along, I had to think about what was right, and what was wrong. None of these choices are renegade, nor are they paragon. They are their own choices.

Synthesis ends all wars and creates ever-lasting peace, but it's forced upon all of the universe.
Control keeps the Reapers away forever without destroying them, but we'll never realize why the war happened or why the Reapers came.
Destroy removes the Reaper threat and Shepard survives so he can educate everyone on why it happened, but it doesn't solve the problem and conflicts could arise again.

When I first played this game and got to the ending, I had to pause the game for 15-30 minutes, because I had to think through it. I thought the endings were pretty damn good. And, if you really want a different ending, you could just shoot the Catalyst and the Reapers could succeed.

All in all, this game was my favorite out of all the Mass Effects, and I enjoyed the endings. Thumb me down if you want, this is simply my opinion.

Because open endings are horrible and bad.

It's not because it's an open ending. It's because all of your choices in the entire trilogy meant nothing besides what color explosion you want to pick.

People have their own opinions, and here is mine: I rather enjoyed the Mass Effect series (as a whole). 1 was clunky, buggy, and felt like combat was forced into it rather than an actual part of the game, but the story was good.
2 felt a bit more refined, and kept to the epic story arc, with minor adjustments to tweak the combat towards being less of a chore.
I honestly really enjoyed 3, the combat was sleek and effective, and the story line was in depth and moving, though of course people bitched because they didn't like how it ended. I'd say get over it, not all movies or books end how you want them, but... you know what? Y'all still buy them and enjoy it.

TL/DR: I enjoyed the series, even watching Shepard die at the end. You don't have to like everything in life.

UNPOPULAR OPINION TIME:

ME1 was the best I think. I didn't even really like ME2 or 3. Didn't even finish 3. They broke the game for me.

It became too much about the shooter aspect and not the RPG. For me, in ME1 I preferred the way the game was set up so that the combat was just the way of getting from one conversation to the next. The conversations and the decisions were the best bit. Then they made the game shooter-intensive and cover based and **** .... I don't want Gears of War in space with half arsed conversation options.

I understand that you guys won't agree with this. I'm prepared for that.

What after Citadel gets attacked? Or the Asari homeworld, at the Illusive mans space station?

Cause if its the Citadel then it was just a cutscene
Asari Homeworld its just the kickstart of the climax
or if its the Illusive Mans space station then thats part of the final mission

or you didnt play the game and just watched cutscenes on youtube and claimed that you played it

The game was amazing.

Its ending is probably the worst moment I've ever experienced in a game.

Kaiden is the only person who I will pick over than Garrus if they ever fought

I dunno I guess me being a biotic tossing, pistol whipping, paragon, male shep. And being pared with Kaiden who is also, a biotic tossing, pistol whipping, paragon, makes a good team it feels right like 2 grapes in a bowl. Being a enough biotic and just enough soldier was perfect for me as I want a unique throw in fighting as hence I wanna pull my enemy in the air and pop the guy a few times in the crotch area with a ****** pistol just for ***** and giggles and finish him off with throw ability just to hear him scream before he die from crushing force of a ground and a dick that has multiple holes in it.......

Dont make me through anyone out the airlock

The Indoctrination Theory - A Documentary

The indoctrination theory for mass effect really changes ones mind on the ending. If EA never rushed Bioware there could have been a possible chance for a Mass effect 4.

Mass Effect 4 is confirmed.
It's a sequel. And you won't be Sheppy.
