You always see them. Maybe a few scattered or grouped together, maybe just one. But he's always there. You find him with a few bags in his hands or a pile of clothes in his arms outside a dressing room. We all know why he's there. Some pretty thing talked him into it, maybe his girlfriend, maybe a friend he's trying to get, but it's always a girl. The task of accompanying a girl in shopping doesn't sound that painful and it shouldn't be. Just standing there watching a girl be pretty sounds like a good deal at first, but we're wrong, it's not. They try on outfits you could have never conceived of, asking your opinion on every one of them. If you decide wrong she gets angry with you, defeating the purpose of going with her. Combine that with the load of a pack mule who must carry the weight of a dwarf star on a strand of razor thin plastic straps on your fingers. On top of it all is the hateful scowls of females near the dressing rooms who give you looks like you're the FBI's most wanted pedophile waiting to rape someone in a dressing room. Now stretch this over a 6 hour or more period of time and it turns into a nightmare. It only takes a little while for the guy to get that look in their eye, the one you can use to make sure it's not a gay friend enjoying a day with his gals. It's the look of a lion who once lived in the wilds, who used to roam and hunt and was king, but now lives in a zoo. Sure it's a safe life full of comfort and simplicity, but it can hardly be called a life at all. That look, that single broken look, can be seen easier than a lighthouse on a dark clear night. You can see their soul being crushed a little bit more with every heartbeat they have. The worst part is, there's nothing you can do. It is a trap of their own choosing. A kind pat on the back and a look that says "Hang in there, it'll be worth it later" is all you can offer, but you both know these words give no comfort. The next time out check their eyes for that broken look in their eyes

She lets me come in the changing room with her. I don't mind shopping with my fiance at all. Always a good show.

A moment of silence for those who have lost their balls to such atrocities.

We've all been domesticated. Do you really think we'd put up with the constant abuses, even if they are small ones, if we really had any courage and pride? Man kind has eaten it's own soul.
