Titus Andronicus is chock full of those- easily the Bard's bloodiest play. There's a human sacrifice, then a murder, then another murder paired with a rape/mutilation, then a double beheading and de-handing, then a double murder where the corpses are made into pies and fed to the mother at a dinner where Titus kills his own daughter then the pie's mother then is himself killed by her husband who is in turn killed by Titus' son. The play culminated with a guy being buried up to his neck to die of exposure.

Shakespeare wrote it because the most popular play genre of the time was the revenge play, and he decided he could pull that **** off way better than anyone else.
