Is that a serious question? They have a proper x86 CPU. They have at least twice as much ram and every one of those tablets is about twice as powerful as an Ipad 3 or top of the line Android tablet. They're designed from the ground up for minimal power usage. Yes, you're paying for the MS operating system. As you would be buying any premade computer system with Windows

Yeah sure android is cheaper and you aren't paying for the OS, but it's not x86... so no proper PC applications unless they're ported.

Personally I'd prefer a Win tablet to the netbook I'm currently using while I'm out and about... so long as it has usb ports
