As a Brit who has lived in the Americas(note exclusively the United States) most of his life, the only thing that bothers me about the U.S system is how they handle dates. It causes major confusion for obvious reasons, but apart from that one change it really isn't an issue. How words are spelt shouldn't really erk you.

(Just FYI, Grey is used all over the UK, not just England, but it's a spelling aid so it counts.)
