Not saying all US Troops in Afghanistan and Iraq are there to kill innocents and make fun of it; but there are some, some substantial amount of soldiers who just caused misery and pain.

Though video was available, there was no voice, when it was released by Pentagon. Later on, WikiLeaks shared this.
Collateral Murder - Wikileaks - Iraq

I can also remind Abu Ghraib Prison, in Baghdad, Iraq - and numerous other occasions where it was clear that the ISAF Forces / Coalition Forces acted in nothing but bad faith.

That being said, yes, the terrorist groups cause perhaps more damage and pain to the locals then any Army does, both in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If our soldiers were not there i can tell you now it would be a hell of a lot worse! You can say that we are there for financial gains as much as you want but we are still making the lives of people better by being there. on a side not, it wouldn't be the american government making money off this it would be the banks that lend them the money to do so.

That is a picture of a ground troop, saying that she made america a better place by killing 10 kids of her child's very same age, that is to assume that that female pulled the trigger thus taking the life of 10 kids. Different than dropping a missile on a maternity ward and multiple other buildings during a bombing run, granted it could have been executed in a safer manner since after all the government building they targeted was not even hit. Falls under the same category as using a ******* predator drone to execute missile strikes when on more than one occasion they were proven to be inaccurate. The point I am trying to make is there is a totally different set of engagement protocols between men on the ground and their surroundings and a ******* bomb which has no sense of innocence be it man, woman or child. Essentially I'm saying that the picture posted implies U.S. Soldiers intentionally take the lives of children, which is not the ******* case.

Did i ever say you kill in cold blood ? But you still kill . So you are a murderer . Why ?
Because you are there to KILL not to protect anything . You are in THEIR territory , killing people . I don't care if they are bad or not . You talk about 9/11 being a disaster and you guys make them have a 9/11 every month . You think because you have CIRCUMSTANCES and feel guilty that you are not a murderer ? Can you say HYPOCRITE?
You are played to KILL and you blindly follow orders .
As for the cold blood ... tell me again how a cold-chunk of steel, plodded with explosives coming your way at 400km/h is not in COLD BLOOD .
I hate you guys the most . You just take comfort in what little humanity you have left and try to prove yourself right .

Another thing, it is not your place or any other mans place to judge me for the actions I took to Defend myself and those around me, be them natives or my brothers in arms. On more than one occasion we were thanked by the men women and children we helped. Also Rules Of Engagements (ROE's) dictate that no American troop will fire on anyone unless fired upon first.

mistakes like going to war in the first place? american people in particular, often make the mistake of believing that their armed forces are actually out there protecting them and not serving the interests of the privileged few, that their armed forces are actually improving the quality of life of the average american - its actually probably one of the biggest triumphs of propaganda in the modern age.

oh, and the US military is also adept at turning impressionable young signups into Jihadis. thats right. Bush Holy War

Hey ********, the American people don't believe the armed forces are protecting us. The large majority disagree with the wars and only call for it on certain occasions. To think that America is the only country that has committed atrocities during war and that it is the only country that goes to war for resources is some of the dumbest thinking anyone could muster up.

The American people still respect their soldiers because not all of them had much choice, a lot of people joining because it helps pay off colleges and debts or helps them build a life. Mistakes are made in war, people try to do their jobs but human error is an occurrence. To blame the soldiers and the people for the decisions of men in office is shallow and show;s your lack of judgement. So stop being a jackass and go find somewhere else to be a self-righteous cunt.

well, you raise an interesting point. but from what ive seen of America a lot of you are hideously indoctrinated. take yourself for example - you sit there like a true keyboard warrior and get yourself all hot under the collar because a gosh darn foreigner has the balls to challenge your glorious military, and resort to making petty excuses like 'they had no choice' and 'hey other countries are doing it too' (which i acknowledge by the way, but it's hardly relevant). Oh and as for the 'we were only following orders' cop-out, i believe many high ranking nazis used the same defense. It was thrown out of Nuremberg.

"The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him."

Here's the thing. A lot of the orders are given without the knowledge of what is actually going to happen. In cases of bombing's and airstrikes, the pilot will often be told that the target is a terrorist stronghold. So of course he believes his target is going to deal a great hit to the enemy, whereas he just bombed a school fr children. To blame individuals for the mistakes and actions of commanding officers is, as I said before, idiotic and just plain dumb.

Keyboard warrior applies to yourself more since you felt the need to be an asshole for no real reason other than to superimpose your beliefs and opinions on others. But if you want to continue to hate a whole country for the actions of a few, then enjoy your meaningless life. The rest of us will continue about our days not being a paranoid coward. If you felt so strongly about your dislike, you'd do something. But you're satisfied with sitting behind your computer acting like you know the world for what it is.

True patriots will fight for their country, and they will fight it. A patriot stands up for his country's ideals, the things that make that country that country, what made it a great thing to begin with, regardless of who he has to stand up to. Be it a foreign army, or his own leaders, that is what a patriot does. He loves his country enough to say it is wrong.

That's what a REAL patriot is. Not some flag waving cunt.

"War is where the old and bitter send the young and stupid to die."

Soldiers are soldiers for different reasons. Don't look at the big picture for them, see what they themselves desire. Not a single soldier wants to keep fighting for whatever reason. Yes, Murrica would probably be fine without the war, but never blame the soldiers.

A true american patriot would stand up for the ideals that the founding fathers founded this country on. Bear arms and all that.

I at no point said that a patriot had to love his country as is. If anything, I said a true patriot would do, and does, everything in his power to change his country for the better.

because when a country is patriotic they say they like/love that country.
Which means you like/love america. Which in my opinion you shouldn't.
I was basically saying you shouldn't like america that much.

And honouring soldiers makes people believe being a soldier is good or has a greater meaning. it doesn't. As you shouldn't defend a country you're not proud of and you shouldn't be proud of your country.

That is my opinion. I will get thumbed to hell but I don't care.

I am glad to live in America. We have a ton of problems to fix starting with fixing the broken corrupted political system but we are still a whole lot better than other countries. I dont really understand were the hate for america comes from. i can understand hatred for the inbred rednecks who run around talking about how america is better than everyone else because we arent but please dont judge all of us based on the lowest of us. i dont pretend america is the best country in the world hell right now we are low on the list so dont hate every american simply for being american hate them if they are stupid assholes who refuse to see reality

lol...american pride. how shameful

1. No free healthcare. your government leaves you to die!!!
2. The worst education system in the western world which leaves more school leavers innumerate and illiterate than any other developed western country.
3. Higher crime rates and murder rates per percentage of population than any other developed country in the world.
4. It has the worst Economy on record, and cant even sustain its own national debt to itself, let alone the 7 trillion dollars owed to china.
5. It calls itself a superpower, and claims to have the best armed forces in the world but hasn't won a single war since the civil war over 200 years ago.
6. Has the highest percentage per population in the developed world of people living below the poverty line, just as weak as the third world countries.
7. Your iphone was made in china, you can't even develop your own economy, resources.
8. The most overweight country in the world by a large margin. A big, fat and stupid nation.

We never really were to begin with. Maybe close to the top at one time, and obesity IS still a problem, but we aren't the fattest country in the world. I remember reading a Guinness Book of World Records for 2010 or somewhere around there, that told what the fattest country in the world was. I can't remember what it said, but it wasn't the U.S. Started with a Z and not Zimbabwe...

We are built on a notion that a man can take care of his own, if they can not. We have Medicare and Medicaid to aid them. Also, the worst in the western world? You're probably right. Mexican and Latin American literacy and math are totally crushing ours.__Higher crime and murder? You are severely mistaken. Take a trip to Thailand or India and see how fast you change your mind. Of course we are a superpower. We have roughly 2,500 fighter aircrafts. Russia, who has the second most. Has 252. We in total have 5,573 aircrafts, Russia has 4,000. We have 329,000 personnel in our air force, they have 160,000. Wars today are won in the air. Also, I would love to see how WWII would have played out if not for our intervention.

And big, fat and stupid? Excuse us while we win the Olympics in a landslide and land on the moon.

Well many countries have free healthcare and it works well. I agree that free healthcare wouldn't possibly fit in american way of thinking or the whole capitalistic nature of, well, everything in america. Personally i think raising taxes to provide more equal rights through peoples whole life is a good thing, but i'm not saying i'm right.

taxes = bad. Especially in the "Recovery" that is appareantly happening.

When you make the stupid ******* healthcare instituted, sure some families who were either too stupid, unlucky, or just dimwitted will get what they need, but the other 98% of Americans will either lose their jobs or get their hours severely cut because the businesses in which they are employed cannot support the mandates that are required.

As i said, this might not work in USA. It works where i'm from and it seems to work in Canada (i'm not sure how their economy is). Suddenly changing a fully capitalistic system into a partly sosialistic(socialist? Grammar 1/10) system would never work, so many laws would have to be changed for it to work. That's why i think its good for USA to work the way it does. It cant be bad to have diversity in economic models.

while there is free healthcare in Canada, almost all doctors can make way more working in America or other nations without free healthcare. causing a huge medical brain drain in Canada. This also means that when Canadians need a complicated/expensive surgery they usually have to come to the US to get it done.
(Source: Dad is doctor in Michigan and he says about half of the nurses at his hospital are Canadian immigrants)

Does Canada have any hospitals that cost you? That are more like companies that do hospitaly-things (I dont know the english word for them)? If yes, do they still pay less than american hospitals? I know what you mean really. In Finland, for pretty much anything bigger than a broken bone you go for a paid hospital.

I don't believe so, but I could be wrong. Everything I have heard o the subject has been along the lines that all hospitals in Canada are publicly funded. Fortunately, 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles of the US, so it usually isn't that big a deal if they end up having to come here for some reason.

Also in my perspective the USA government shouldn't (atleast not much, again, i dont know that much about how high the tax rate is) lower the taxes but relocate where they use that money. Using less money on war and more on the people would seem like the right thing to do, right?

Feeling very bad for all these soldiers, for having earth hating on them for doing exactly what they are told too. Of course some of them do like kill, but what what did you expect ?
I mean, it's not these soldiers that decided to invade Irak for X ********. But in the same part, people must understands it works in every sides. In the first Irak war, iraqui soldiers have suffered the most, being buchered for being forced to serve their country.

These 2 stupid wars only helped out people focused on oil, money and strategical grounds, in both camps. Brave people however dies horribly. Dictators betray our oligarchies, war comes and soldiers dies, because they do what we asked them to do, it's their jobs. And the families of the dead soldiers start to hate their opponent. This is how we can sum up the conflict between Muslim and Arab groups and Americans. ( also Europeans who helped on these 2 wars).
