Many people have told me to watch Sherlock; Should I? I really have never been one of those persons that admired Holmes. I read his novels and had fun, but nothing more. I really liked how utterly broken of a human being Holmes was and I enjoyed trying to watch him get out of stuff in all of his psychologically crippled glory. But for what I see this version of Sherlock is just a bit antisocial and smug, also not addicted to anything.
Honest question: What makes the BBC Sherlock good or would make it worthwhile to watch?
Pic semi-related.

Assuming that you weren't just trying to be funny and really want to know;

His brother tried to force him to put on nice clothes for a meeting, Sherlock was grumpy and didn't want to play nice.

Oh okay, thanks.

My friend has this saying when he wants to say "No ****" to someone, and he says "No sheets, Sherlock."

That's apparently based on an old Holmes tale about how there was a robber who went around robbing people of their sheets and then killing them. Or something like that.

Then, when Watson n' Sherlock catch wind of a possible lead, they go to this dude's apartment and look around... Nothing...

But then they stumble upon his bedroom. Watson looks underneath the covers, and viola! "No sheets, Sherlock!"

I'm only regurgitating this by the way...

Melissandra reads me that story every night.

Benedict Cumberbatch (the curly dark haired one) played Khan in Star Trek: Into Darkness. The short friend/blonde one played Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit. The man in the suit...well, he's like all over minor characters acting but also writes stuff.

please don't hate me for being a nerd

Took me a minute to remember his name. It was so weird all I focused on was about was the name John and thought he shared the similar name.... Nonetheless it's Martin Freeman who plays Bilbo Baggins and JOHN Watson
