Atheists, people who try to use logic to poke holes that which cannot be proved with our current understanding and perception.

Yeah, who needs that dumb logic anyway? You can't disprove it, therefor it is true!

Where on earth did I say that logic was dumb?
What I am stating is that applying the logic that we as humans can comprehend to something that we quite possibly cannot is rather dumb.

I'm simply sick of atheists doing exactly what they bitch about 'religious people' do, namely bitching about other people's beliefs and do their best to make them out as idiots. The funny thing is, now they're not doing it in the name of any deity who will welcome them with open arms into heaven(you know, an afterlife that can neither be proven or unproven), they're just doing it to blatantly belittle others.

In reality, God can neither be proven or disproven, as if he does 'exist', it could be outside the realm of our understanding.

Now, that is not to say God exists. That is not what I'm saying. In all honesty, the likelihood of him existing as the Bible describes him is an infinitely small chance, as there are plenty of other possibilities for all-powerful deities that we cannot comprehend existing.

Here's a simple rule of thumb: If there's no reason to believe it exists, it most likely doesn't.

I can understand you frustration, nobody likes a hypocrite. And what atheists are really bitching about is that it's happing to them. But after years of having that crap slapped across your face with the message "or else", could you really blame us for being a little bitter.
Sure we call theists idiots but that's not nearly as bad as wishing eternal torture beyond comprehension on someone for braking "the rules".

What bites me is that I've met far more vocal atheists than christians.

And I live in Ireland, for ****** sake.
