Did you know that some zoos were having trouble breeding the Cheetahs due to their high level of stress. So they started raising the cheetahs with companion dogs.
And it worked.
Except they had to be separated during meal time.
Because the dogs would eat all the food.
Not on my comp so no pic for you

i saw these guys on a documentary on netflix, i think it's called unlikely animal friendships or something like that. lots of adorable garbage like this, like there was a goat that would lead a blind horse to its favorite pasture every day. pretty good, strongly recommend it.

They did this because cheetahs and dogs have similar body language. So if the dog is giving off signs of being calm and happy, then the cheetah thinks everything is good too, thus making it docile.

Once, I saw an episode of some show where a dog and a lion were raised together, but the lion got too big for living standards and the lady had to put it in a zoo. The dog would see the lion on tv and would go with the lady to go see the lion at the zoo and it was beautiful

Fun fact: Cheetas are a skittish cat and dogs help them calm down.

Here's an article I read some time ago that this post made me think of.
