I do agree soccer is a ***** sport with a lot of faking and such, I feel I have to point out, that some of the worst sports injuries are to be found in soccer(yes, soccer). Soccer is one of the only games you play with the feet. Since you focus so much on the ground, you're much more vulnerable. If one player decides to just **** up another player in soccer, his guard will most likely be totally down, unlike hockey or american football where you're always prepared for contact. Also, players go from standing almost still to running at top speed in a very short time. This ever changing pace of soccer, makes it a lot easier to get injuries to your knees and such. All grown up men in my country have ****** up knees, shins and feet cause they played soccer when they were young.

That may be true but think about hockey. They have blades on their feet. A few years ago a player I think on Detroit got his neck cut. He should have been dead before the medics could get to him on the ice but saved himself because he knew where to put his fingers. How many people die from getting kicked in the shins?

That may be true but think about war. They have guns in their hands. a few days ago a soldier from USA i think got shot. He should have been dead before the medics could get to him on the battlefield, but he saved himself because he knew where to put his hands. How many people die from getting their necks cut from blades?

This Comment is like yours totally ******* irrelevant.

Dude, you just plain out copied my comment with the gif and everything. I'm glad you agree with me, but still, that's a little lame. www.funnyjunk.com/funny_pictures/4625890/Why+I+love+the+game/23#23

I'm sorry, but you see, people don't give a **** about reposts in comments.
And I am merely milking the situation.
And I just now realize I copied the comment of pappathethird
I'm kind of a fan

Your'e right, every time I play hockey I'm focused on getting hit and hitting people, not trying to get the small black puck. I'm also always ready to check someone every time there is a possession change, instead of reacting to the situation. The people that I used to play hockey with are in perfect health, those constant contact with other players, not to mention the fact that getting hit by a 60 mph (that's a low average btw) puck in a location with a simple piece of cloth to protect you. But I'm sure that 120 lb men jogging around can really do a number on you, and cause more extreme injuries then a 230-280 guy slamming into you with a weapon while he is going 15 mph. Soccer really is a very dangerous sport, I mean, a kick really hurts, and it is pretty easy to break your ankle too by turning too fast, this is a thing that happens exclusively in soccer. (fun fact, in every sport, there is at least one guy that wants to hurt you, in hockey, the guy is just faster, and has a weapon)

tl;dr I disagree, soccer isn't a dangerous sport. You **** with someone in a game, better be able to defend yourself.

No soccer isnt a dangerous sport. Its a ******* fun sport. I pressume you play Hockey cause you think its fun and not because its dangerous?

If you think that Danger is a quality trademark of hockey, then good for you. The majority of sportsfans in the world seems just to like the quality trademarks of soccer more.

I'm sure that fat guys falling over on ice with Dildo sticks in their hands is very dangerous, so much more dangerous than strong athletes full on sprint at you and breaking your leg in two.

tl;dr Adjectives are fun

>fat guys.

You're absolutely clueless.

I've read somewhere that cheer leading is apparently the #1 sport for injuries.

However, that's IF you class chearleading as a sport + (and the statistic may apply only to the USA)

Look up Penn and Teller's show, " ******** ", they have a whole episode about cheerleading being the worst sport for injuries.

I've heard that about cheerleading as well, I think cause they're tossing girls up in the air and they don't always get caught

I do actually, I just felt the need to post more gruesome injuries. +1 Respect for him for coming back and goal tending in the playoffs

I personally think leg breaking in any way is less mortifying than having your throat sliced. His coach ran in and grabbed his artery.

I do too, I just thought we would start a thread of sports injuries
