My opa and I made a make-shift scaffolding with 2 ladders and some plywood and neither of us managed to get hurt or fall!

Oh **** , why use an extending paint-roller when you could put a ******* ladder on a ******* ladder? Genius!

You have obviously never done constructions. Some times you have to engineer some weird **** and hope to God you don't die.

I can relate. My dad and I climbed a latter to the roof to scrape the wall and repaint. Some of it was too high to reach so we brought up another latter. Something actually picture worthy and not a single one.

they had two idea, one was to get a longer roller so as to be able to reach the pain safely, or to just get another ladder to stand on so they could paint it with the things they already had. They went with the latter.

We do this kind of stuff along the side of buildings for roofing because we cant afford proper equipment. Needless to say I got really good at balancing really fast. I'm also no longer afraid of heights.

This would be prefectly safe if the ladder below was stable/propped against something

I do this to install apartment staircases sometimes, its not very safe but safer than you'd think. Kinda rides the line.

It looks partially stable, I'd say it's at least a 50% chance that it'll hold, and if it doesn't there's still probably a good chance of living through the collapse of that thing considering the stairs just below.
