Except the WRPG one is mage armor and the other is typically warrior armor.

wrpg: that armor is badass and is considered the best in game.
Jrpg: that armor looks badass, and is considered standard.

Mages don't need armor, they can immobilize you before you can even get close to them
User avatar #251 to #191 - jsrf (07/28/2013) [-]
implying that all mages are able to stun
User avatar #252 to #251 - zarallyn ONLINE (07/28/2013) [-]
>immobilize
>not stun
Most mages could
User avatar #254 to #252 - jsrf (07/28/2013) [-]
even if they could moste of the time the STUN period is not long enough. plus there are always, guns, throwing knives. crossbows, and whatever u can finde laying on the floor
User avatar #257 to #254 - zarallyn ONLINE (07/28/2013) [-]
the period of stun or immobilize does not need to be very long, the mage could either flee or take the opportunity to attack said immobilized/stunned opponent

I've never seen a sheath for a wizard's staff, but I could be wrong
User avatar #196 to #179 - sabcy (07/28/2013) [-]
it's usually a loop.
#197 to #196 - frozencrown (07/28/2013) [-]
A......loop? How?
User avatar #198 to #197 - sabcy (07/28/2013) [-]
you use leather, make a circle, strap it to you back, and put the stave in it.
#199 to #198 - frozencrown (07/28/2013) [-]
Ah, never heard of that before. Thank you
#200 to #199 - frozencrown (07/28/2013) [-]
Ok, I've heard of a loop, just not using it as a staff holder
User avatar #202 to #200 - sabcy (07/28/2013) [-]
what else would you put it in?
#206 to #202 - frozencrown (07/28/2013) [-]
I don't know. Whenever I usually see a wizard with a staff, they're always just carrying it
User avatar #209 to #206 - sabcy (07/28/2013) [-]
They're actually using it as a walking stick, which is why most don't need a sheathe
#211 to #209 - frozencrown (07/28/2013) [-]
Exactly, so that's why I didn't think that they really had a "sheath" of sorts
User avatar #214 to #211 - sabcy (07/28/2013) [-]
no, I was saying that those a staves, walking sticks, not staffs, magical foci.
#216 to #214 - frozencrown (07/28/2013) [-]
I thought "staves" was the plural form of a staff?
User avatar #217 to #216 - sabcy (07/28/2013) [-]
no, there are staffs, and staves.
#220 to #217 - frozencrown (07/28/2013) [-]
Oh........I did not know this.....
