Teen Titan's Go, because the ********* thought the only reason people liked the show were silly gags. What's that? The well written characters and serious plot arcs? No, there's no way that watching an episode that makes us question whether Robin was truly facing Slade was a true attack or merely Robin slowly losing his mind and mutilating himself was something people wanted to watch, it was Beast Boy's ****** jokes everyone was interested in! What's that about the part where a girl struggling with insecurity about her own powers that have the capability of destroying cities and killing hundreds by accident (and it's implied that it has already happened in the past) being slowly influenced by a madman into eventually turning the only people she considered her friends into enemies attempting to stop her reign of terror, and eventually seals herself in stone (the equivalent of suicide, at least the closest a kids show can allow) in order to put an end to all the suffering she had brung? Nope, we need more episodes about making magical sandwiches.

See this is the problem, they know what people have liked in the past and attempt to create that same feel... What they fail to grasp is why they liked it. It's like they found out someone liked their ribs with fries on the side, and thus the next time someone orders it just gives them a big bowl of nothing but gravy for the fries, fries the customer never gets because they're too thick to think "maybe the customer liked the ribs and fries WITH the gravy on the side"

The sad part is that you and I dont mean **** all to them, our time has gone they dont care how much you enjoyed their previous shows, whats most important is wrangling in a new generation, and cajoling them into emptying their parents pockets for the sake of mindless consumerism and profits. Busines 101,in most large familys the children have majority of the buying power.

I don't like how in Teen Titans Go they made Starfire a derp. She wasn't stupid, she was culturally ignorant. She just didn't know. But they stretched it too much - now she just doesn't know anything at all.

Also, I don't like the plot being centered around Robin wanting to bang Starfire. The original plot was basically about Robin's decent into madness, among other things. Now it's "Lololol Robin broke is in Starfire's room and took her diary!"

Pic related; it's current cartoons trying to appeal to an audience.

That's all true and everything, but maybe they just don't give a **** ? Maybe they're appealing to a newer audience and we just don't matter anymore.

I think you hit the nail right on the head there. I will be coming back to this whenever I hear people bitch about me or others just having "nostalgia goggles".
