Hey, I'll give him credit, he's doing better than me. My problem is that I don't read. I know it's a problem and I would like to change it -- and I would like your help FJ. I know that reading has a ridiculous amount of benefits to the brain, but I just can't seem to get into it -- but I really want to.

I'm definitely just lazy, I'm fairly certain that's the problem. Instead of picking up a book, I'll mentally say something like:
"Let's just flip through the channels and find something ridiculously mind-numbing to watch. Ouuuuuu Pawn Stars!!!"
And then before you know it it's 2am and I have to get up for work in a couple of hours...

Like I said, I know I should be reading, and I want to start reading -- I just need some sort of motivation.

How did you guys truly get into reading (especially if you started later in your life)?
Are there any pointers you guys could give me that would help me along making the switch from having my eyes on the TV to the page?

Any help is appreciated.

go to a library and ask someone working there (or anyone that looks friendly) what a good book is. theyll point you in the right direction.
