My parents brought me to see the Exorcist when I like 4 years old.

Not the best experience.

my mom let my brother and i rent Jaws, and we couldn't have been more than 6 at the time. Subsequently I never re-watched the movie, and I seriously don't know anything about it other than it has a giant shark and it scared the **** out of me as a child. I still vividly remember the horror.

Or you hire a man with a prosthetic arm to try to buy the movie, but when he tries to check it out, they pull his arm off. At this point he turns around to the girl and says, "And that's why you don't beg for movies."

I think half the people on this site should ever be allowed to have children. Good thing I never planned on getting children.

Try telling what you just said to every parent ever.

They're going to tell you that when they were young, they never imagined having kids either but are happy to have the kids that they do now.
