I've become habituated to the muscular pain for the days that follow a tough workout. I actually enjoy it now and will purposely flex or use my muscles in order to propagate the pain.

I think it feels good.

I enjoy the gym, seeing as i do nothing most of the day and I want to get in shape as well. Nothing makes me happier than being able to do **** I couldn't do before. Hell, even the pain you feel the next day feels great. To me it feels like a sense of accomplishment.

The main reason ('main' to insinuate that it's not the only reason) why I go to the gym is rather than whine on the internet about friendzonez, not getting laid etc, I actually want to do something about it and build a good set of muscles. It's how Zyzz first got into bodybuilding in the first place.

...People do realize you don't have to go to the gym to work out right...? Just buy a weight vest and a bench-press on ebay for about 100 bucks, and go to town. I never understand paying 100 bucks a month for something I can do every day for free in my own home, without the obnoxious people getting in the way. You know who I mean. The ones who clearly have no idea what they're doing on the machines, the ones who clearly know way too much about it and insist on showing off to make you feel lesser, the ones who are just kissing on the damn matts, the kids who play the music from a boombox instead of using headphones like everyone else, the ones who hog the machines but don't actually use them, and worst of all, the 15-17 year old girls in tight fitting clothes that reeeaaaally make me think 5 years in jail might not be so bad. (seriously, when the **** did girls start getting like that at that age. When I was that age, they didn't have these bodies. And to put it in perspective, I'm only 24.)

Is it just me, or is it the fact that nobody keeps up with their physical exercise routines?

It feels like you're 1203469017234123 years old, even lifting your arm up takes everything out of you.

God damn.
