I ******* hate this post because it uses Die Hard as an example of the vent one, and says "Its the perfect hiding spot, no one will ever think of looking for you there and you can move to any part of the building you want"

First off, Karl DID hear him up there, and was checking every section of the ducts until he got called off. And McClain used it once to get to some random part of the building to escape. He had no idea where he was going.

Shooter was a great movie, and the hot chick in her bra & panties with her shotgun was a nice bonus.

Just a few notes: In the first pic about the girl checking out the noise, thats from Shooter, and she didnt go to check out the noise, she waited until the guy came into her bedroom and shot him, point blank in the chest.

In Die Hard, in the ventilation shaft, he only hid in the vents once, and the bad guy started shooting at the vents cause he figured out he was in there.

In Rush Hour, Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan weren't assigned as partners at all. They weren't supposed to be working the case at all. Chris Tucker was supposed to be keeping Jackie Chan out of the way while the FBI handled it.

Quick point about the pain one, the reason you don't feel it as much in a fight is because you're producing adrenaline, which increases your heart rate but also dulls the senses somewhat (i could be wrong but that's mostly the jist of it), so you feel less pain.

Thought of this guy for the army-loved ones piece.

Also in the ventilation shafts they seem perfectly clean and almost brand new, as opposed to dusty, cob-web ridden and probably have a nest of rats somewhere.

my favorite scene of movie irony, in a comical way, is in; "cloudy with a chance of meatballs", when they show all famous monuments get crushed by large food pieces after they say that the catastrophy has spread all over the world. And the following scene is a reporter saying: this apocalypse has a surprising strike pattern, it first targets all large monuments all over the world and then spreading to the rest of the land.

In movies, no one will listen to the rogue cop who plays by his own rules regardless of how many times he's saved the city/country/world.

And in war movies, when people's ears are ringing, they can't get shot

dont understand the last one because he was assigned to jackie chan to keep them both out of the way of the investigation on the first rush hour and that rush hour they were both friends [if that is indeed rush hour] so it makes a terrible example. and the one about the wounds is explainable in the fact that during a fight you have adrenaline running through your body which gives a higher threshold for pain and when the woman or whoever else is tending the wounds gets to you the fight is over so yeah...its going to sting like a bitch
